The Fleabag effect was another trend which came from the new TV series, and this involved wearing black jumpsuits with red lips. The product with the highest % growth on the previous year were reusable straws, and they were up 1573%. Stephen Cawley is the head of sustainability and reasonable sourcing. Easter and Halloween decorations are some of the seasonal products that sales decreased on, by 30% since the previous year. Finally, JOMO is a new saying that has been widely recognised this year as 'Joy Of Missing Out'.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When most other retailers were struggling throughout 2020 due to the pandemic, Farfetch had a revenue increase of 71% YoY. Josè Neves, Chairman, Founder and CEO put this down to a 'shift in favour of online luxury'. In-store revenue also increased YoY, even with Covid restrictions in place. This was driven by them acquiring the New Guards Group in the previous year, which includes labels: Off-White, Palm Angels, Heron Preston and Alanui. Farfetch is definitely a company ahead of others, driving the switch to an accelerated online luxury space. Farfetch recently announced a partnership with Alibaba and Richemont, with the goal to bring luxury into the next generation. I think it is very important for these online luxury retailers to focus in on exactly what their customers are looking for, in order to maximise profit and start this new transition.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This website looks at how sustainable brands are and rates them based on this. I have previously found that H&amp;M ranked 1st in the Forbes report, however from this site Monki are average. It looks at environment, labour and animal ratings, which Monki has taken steps to improve. Monki is very transparent and publishes information about its supply chain, although it is still a fast-fashion retailer making it less sustainable. A way to improve this is for them to reduce the launches snd focus on creating more high quality pieces. This is what I will do in my range and the sourcing strategy will be sustainable.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It has been discovered that forced labour is happening among ethnic minorities in China’s Xinjiang region. Thousands of labourers from these minorities are being forced to pick the cotton by hand through coercive schemes. Human rights campaigners have raised concerns over the forced detention and freedom restrictions. <br>This region makes up for 85% of China’s and 20% of the world’s cotton, the report found, and it is “very likely” that any cotton from Xinjiang may involve coerced labour. This obviously has hugely damaging effects across the global cotton supply chain, not only in China, and brands will need to step up and take precautionary measures.</div>]]></description>

We were able to filter pricing, to ensure we picked a collection suitable for every customer's budget.
