After join Composition I Class for almost a semester, I've got many lessons from it. Back then when it was the half semester of this class, I still have some difficulties on making essay. My main problem is always struggling on looking for a good source. I think I need some recommendations for the platform to search the sources and also tips to search and choose a good source. I also struggling on how to write my idea properly to the essay since I have so many things in my head, but I always confused to make it into a writing. Beside that, I have learned how to make a better paragraph compared to my mid semester essay. Not only from the lecture, but I also learned new things from my friend through peer review and group works. Their feedback, comments, and opinions help me to improve my skills in writing essay. I am grateful that I am a part of this class. Thank you for Sir Eka and everyone for helping me during this Composition I class! Have a nice day!

After taking Composition 1 for 1 semester, I've received many lessons from this class such as how to make a good works cited, how to create a good academy writing, and the importance of feedback. When I write an essay, I started to get used to the structure of essay and paragraph, I also think having a face-to-face consultation after the revision to make sure that it is enough is a good opportunity to learn more. Maybe the challenge will be time management, another thing is maybe when I write my essay, sometimes I did not realize about what grammar error that I make. I think having the face-to-face consultation are very helpful, and I would recommend it to the other classmate, so that we are not only acquire knowledge from classes and got extra information from consultation. Thank you for your hard work.

This semester's composition course has been an invaluable learning experience. I've gained a much better understanding of essay structure, an area I previously found challenging. I've improved a lot regarding my essay writing skills through draft submission and critical feedback from my lecturer and my peers. The key takeaway from this class is the importance of maintaining an open mindset; there's always room for growth and improvement. I could only suggest that we have fewer classes if possible, but other than that I wanted to thank you for mentoring me slowly which turned out very beneficial for me and my essay writing.

In this class, I have learned that writing is a long process. Those processes include brainstorming, mind-mapping, and revision. I also learned as an author, when I read my essay, I need to adjust myself as a reader who did not know at all about the topic of the essay. Another thing is, that peer review in writing is essential, to editing and proofreading from friends.

The challenge that I faced during this class was finding accurate sources to use in the essays. I have had a hard time eliminating sources that I want to use because it feels like every source is important.

What could you improve? I don't think there's much to improve. Your class have a great classroom expectation, as an example, you motivate us by saying that everyone deserve get an A. I value that highly and appreciate it so much!

Throughout the semester, I have learned and experienced various things in Composition I class. I met a few new friends, worked with some of them in peers review, discovered new knowledge regarding descriptive and argumentative essay and how to properly cite data for the writing, and I also learned how to give feedback to my friends' writing.

Most of these experiences went well; however, of course there was also challenges faced in class. First, there is one time when I submit my assignment passed the due date because of SEP (sorry). Second, my first peer review was not good enough because my partner was not finished the essay yet, so I did not get opportunity to read and give feedback on the writing. In addition, I actually struggle with organizing my argumentative essay since I wrote it using common style and not using point by point or blocking (I use intro par, bp 1 and bp 2 explaining the points of my topic, counter par. that contains only one counter points to the proponent's statement, and then concluding par.). This is quite challenging for me.

So far, this class is very fun and actually one of my favorite classes in my first year in university. Thank you, Mr. Eka, for creating such a cool class!

During my composition class with Mr. Eka, I felt engaged in his way of delivering the lesson. To begin with, I learned the lesson through various approaches that we were given in class, such as discussion, grouping, and pairing up. This way of learning unites us to share our thoughts and perceptions on each of our works or a certain topic. Next, my understanding of the lesson is quite surely understood because, when I do the assignment, I try to apply and elaborate on the lesson that I have gained, which makes me enjoy in writing. However, my struggle is when I have to apply a different type of format in writing in another class where I have not fully learned that format, so therefore I have to figure it out on my own, which sometimes leaves me with doubt. Last, probably about my concern with this class where we were not given the modules or e-books, however in some of the assignments there were mentioned the names of the books and the pages, but I think this was intentionally to boost students' initiative to find the book on their own.

I learnt a lot in Composition I; paraphrasing, citation, essay structures, and many more. So far I really like how the class is conducted, the materials are useful, and Mr. Eka is always considerate about our tasks. One thing that I admire from Mr. Eka is he always highlights that he never expect perfection, but he wants to see how hard the students will work to improve themselves. Every time we miss any assignment, he would gladly re-open the submission portal. Whereas the challenges came only from my side, which is not being able to manage the time wisely, leading myself not to be able to finish the work properly. But again, Mr. Eka would give us chance to revise and that makes me happy. Thank you for teaching us this semester, Mr. Eka!
