         <description><![CDATA[<div>50 people were assigned to chew Wrigley's Extra Long Lasting Flavor Gum TM while they were doing some of the activities we had set aside for them to complete. A different group of 50 people were told not to chew gum or anything else while doing any of their work. </div>]]></description>

I them had them answer a series of questions and problems to see how ling it took them, and with what accuracy. I did the same thing with the people who didn't chew gum.</div>]]></description>

The age of the person could be a factor in determining how well they performed on the tasks. To try to prevent this, I made sure all participants were ages 17-25.</div>]]></description>
