So, Polyneices raised an army and attacked Thebes. In the battle, both brothers were killed. Their uncle, Creon, took the throne and decried that since Polyneices had fought against his own people, he was not to be buried. I sprinkle a meager amount of dirt on my poor brother, who was left here on this battlefield without the proper burial that he deserves.  

Polyneices ruled in alternate years, our beautiful land of Thebes.  It was a challenging kingship, to have to rule in alternate years, but my brother did what he had to do.  Some may say that he was traitorous, but he was trying to rightfully claim what he was given.
