As I walked down the street I had two men in my view and they were holding a flag up I asked them (in Cambodian)ka tha sanhnhea robsa anak which means is that your flag. The one guy knew a lot about The Cambodian Flag and told me The current flag, with a blue border and red central was adopted following Cambodia's independence in 1948. The man also told me that the flag was banned and then re-adopted in 1975. so interestingly the flag is very young. He also told me that Cambodias flag is the only flag with a building on it

I went on this trip so I can see new sights and I happened to see a restaurant and I knew for sure what the highlight of the day was going to the Monorom Restaurant I tried the dish called fish amok which had fresh coconut milk and kroeung, a type of Khmer curry paste made from lemongrass, turmeric root, garlic, shallots, galangal and finger root. I must admit the desert tasted weird it was palm jelly in deku nuts although it did leave a pretty good aftertaste.

This iconic, sprawling temple complex is surrounded by a wide moat & features intricate carvings. I tried studying the ways of Buddhism and is seems that it is the largest religious temple in the world and was purposed to be a Hindu temple for the god Vishnu but as the tour guide said as the Khmer republic took over they made this into a temple of Buddhism. Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple-mountain and the later galleried temple. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs, and for the numerous devatas adorning its walls.

as a represetor of Boise I traveled here from Idaho to see how the government in Cambodia is running and it appears that there is a group called the 1993 Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia and they affect Cambodia by keeping a order in there country. Many people have had a argument whether there should be a royal or more governmental system
