De doelgroepen  zijn kwetsbare ouderen, chronische zieken en patienten met dementie. Bij buurtzorg de pijp hebben ze ruime ervaring in terminale zorg. We hebben niet meegemaakt hoe het werk bij buurtzorg de pijp wordt verricht, omdat deze een wijkzorg instantie is en ze respecteren de prive van hun patienten.
