Meeting the Mentor

One day, this man named Flynn Ryder appears at Rapunzel's tower. She is very scared and with that, hits him with a pan. When he becomes conscious, she interrogates Flynn and finds he can help her go see the lanterns.

Crossing the Threshold

After thinking about the things Flynn had said to her, she decides to leave her tower with him. This was the very fist time she left her tower.

Allies, Trials, and Enemies

Rapunzel meets Flynn Ryder, Maximus the horse, and men from The Snuggly Duckling. The Stabbington brothers do not like Flynn and mother Gothel becomes friends with the brothers when she finds out Flynn was the one who helped Rapunzel. Some trials that they face are running from the royal guards, the Stabbington brothers, and mother Gothel.

Approach to the Inmost Cave

Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder go and watch the floating lanterns. Her and Flynn have a romantic moment. A bit before hand, Rapunzel figures out she is the lost princess.

The Supreme Ordeal

The Stabbington brothers and Gothel track down Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder. Mother Gothel knocks out the brothers and takes Rapunzel back to the tower. She convinces Rapunzel that Flynn left her and the only "safe place" is the tower.

Reward

Flynn Ryder comes to rescue Rapunzel, but Gothel stabs Flynn and Rapunzel wants to heal him with her hair. He cuts her hair off and mother Gothel is mad because she will turn old again. Gothel gets pushed out of the tower and she dies. Rapunzel is holding Flynn and crying. Her tear drop lands on him and he is brought back to life.

The Road Back

Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder go back to the castle, Corona. A royal soldier runs and tells Rapunzel's real parents that she was found. Rapunzel is reunited with her parents and everyone is happy.
