My name is Lena, I am 18 years old at the time of writing this. I was born in Saudi Arabia, Originally from Egypt. I have studied in Singapore and Dubai for my school years. I am progressing into Fine Arts, My hobbies consist of drawing, painting, photography, and photo editing. I also enjoy cooking and baking, makeup, writing/journaling, fashion, etc.

Fruits In Art

First few weeks we are focusing on fruits in Art. We started by exploring our personal art styles by doing still life using different materials. Then creating a bigger piece of work combining what we have created already. I started by just painting an apple, then added pen, and played around with the background to compliment the big apple.

I prepared a 3 part series of people in cafes, I feel like the audience understood the vibe. I would've prepared more and added descriptions and named the photographs. I enjoyed the process of making and creating. I found it challenging to talk about the photographs because they were taken in the blink of an eye and very documentary, so in the moment there wasn't much meaning behind it, I learned however, that in these situations you are meant to create your own meaning. I would like to do what the pm students were doing, more story telling oriented.
