Firstly coaching leadership style. in the scene of when they get started in showing the boys how to bob sled. Another scene showing when he is a coaching is when they are at the Olympic qualifiers and teaching them to bob sled on the ice. Now to the commanding style of his leadership. In the scene when Derice came to Irving of the idea to start a bob sled team he responded very commanded. Next to the visionary part of him. Firstly Yul thinks that is way is the best way and makes the team more frightened and a very stubborn personality (closed minded). In the scene when he was first introduced the idea of the bob sled team he has his own set of commands as he said various times through out the film "don't touch me". In another instance Yul is very affiliative towards Junior which in the beginning he was not to fond of him since he tripped him and ruined his chance in running sport for the Olympics. In one scene Yul defends junior while a person from the Switzerland team was trash talking him and running his confidence. He teaches junior to stand up for himself and what he believes what is right. Firstly when Sanka was making cart team with the little boys he would command them to do what he says and when he says it, he means well in the end though. In the other scene Sanka shows to be commanding is when Derice tries to convince him to join the team Sanka gives him a hard time to convince him. Sanka also shows to be a democratic leader. Junior always puts other peoples input on his life before his for example his father basically controls his life and the decisions he makes. In the scene where he finally stands up to his father through Yul's help. He still takes input from others but not as much as before. Which is the definition of a democratic leader. In the various scenes like when they were choosing positions for the bob sled he said what do you guys think?. Also through being a democratic leader he sells his car so him nd his team mates can travel to the qualifiers in Calgary. Firstly Visionary, When Derice first went to Coach Irving with idea of starting a bob sled team for the Olympics  since junior tripped him before he could finish the running race which was his original sport he was going to the Olympics for. Deric didn't take no for answer from coach and while trying to convince them to join and create a bob sled team to achieve his dream of going to the Olympics. Another scene Derice showed being a visionary leader is when they were fisrt practicing at on the ice for the first time and failed he gave his team  mates a pep talk about the feeling of how this is all going to pay off in the end and everything is going to be great in the end. Now the many times Derice has shown that he is a affiliative leader. In the scene when he tryies to create bonds between him and his team mates as he witnesses Yul and Junior fighting. He tries to create a team bond while competing in the qualifiers and eventually to the Olympics.
