I've recently discovered Blooket, which is a fun alternative to Gimkit/Kahoot— the kids have been having lots of fun with it and it's nice to have variety so things don't get stale!

(Also, Gimkit now has a Pictionary-type mode called Draw That which is so much fun!)

I am really interested in the personal journal you were talking about. Did you find that students were open to share in their journals, with you? This sounds like a really vulnerable activity to build some amazing relationships! AMAZING IDEA STELLA!
