Using Renaissance Learning STAR test results from incoming 8th graders, we will determine students’ need for literacy enhancement intervention.</span></p><br><p>2. Students placed in literacy enhancement will be assessed using Scholastic Reading Inventory and teacher observation to determine access and placement to Read 180 curriculum.</p><br><p>3. Teachers will evaluate student’s performance on CAHSEE predictor tests to determine appropriate intervention as available which could include web based interventions (Revolution K-12).</p><br><p>4. Incorporating more informational texts.</p><br><p>5. Beginning the process of implementing cross-curricular collaborative projects.</p><br>6. Average to above average students will be recruited into the AVID college readiness program.</p>]]></description>
