1. The Issue is that it is becoming more important for younger generations to save for retirement, but it is virtually impossible with student debt and rising costs of living.

2. His argument is that younger generations need to save, but it’s is very difficult with student loan so ans costs of living. He presents some “creative” or satirical suggestions on how to save.

3. Without satire this issue would be boring and mundane. Also many young people chose not to think of retirement assuming that it is very far away. However this argument will appear much more entertaining and people will then read it. Although they aren’t serious resolutions presented, people will begin to think about this issue

1. The issue is how younger generations should prepare for a successful retirement.
2. The argument is that the younger generations has nothing fall back on in terms of retirement, such as pensions and social security, which was always an option for people in the past.
3. The author uses satire because it shows that the younger generation has no options for retirement. However using satire sheds light on the topic that no one has developed a solution for future retirement. Also, younger generations should have not put effort into thinking about their futures as retirees.
