A juicing diet is when someone gets all the nutrients that they need in a juice and they cut out all solid foods out of their diet. The only thing in these juices are the fruit or vegetable juice and some water and that is all you will be having.

You will be having about 8 juices per day spread out having 1 every hour and a half. One thing with the juicing is that you at are missing out on lots is the fiber you would get from eating the fruits whole.

Some juicers can get expensive ranging anywhere from 50-400 dollars which could be out of some teenagers pay range. Calories start to be a concern if you don't know what you are doing. If you have purely fruit juice then the calories start to add up a lot and if you do only vegetable juice then you wont get enough calories so it is always a good idea to mix the use of vegetables and fruits in your juices.

You will also need to get some source of protein in your juices so you have to add some kind of nuts or seeds or some yogurt or milk. It's true that eating a plant-based diet is linked to lower risk of heart disease or cancer but that doesn't mean it has to be in juice form so I don't think that the juice diet is really something to hype up because I feel I would start to get bored of just drinking liquids all day and would give up after the first couple days.
