I think community members should be able to control what books are in the library because, if they weren't able to determine what books weren't in the library then librarians could put whatever they wanted in the library. But not if they go to far. For example Alice in the Wonderland was banned because she was drinking and eating stuff she wasn't supposed to. So I think they should be able to just not by going to far.

I think community members should NOT be able to control what is in library's. This is because they might have different beliefs, reading levels or something different then you. Which would cause them to ban something even if it aligns with your beliefs, reading level, etc. Like I don't see why people would challenge Captain Underpants due to the word "poopie" or because of a guy wearing undergarments.

no because some people are over protective, or extremely religious. The reason Harry potter was banned because of how people get offended by using "witchcraft"and liberals get offended by everything. And hunger games is challenged because of violence.

I think community members should control what books can be in a library because maybe some of the community members had read that book and thought it wasn't appropriate, by adding their opinion thy can stop those who shouldn't read it from reading it. I know sometimes I will just breeze through the library not know what to get, if I was to look at a book that was inappropriate and I shouldn't read. I wouldn't know it was inappropriate before reading it so I would assume it was OK to read but it is not. Even though, some people will band books that shouldn't be banned the community members should control what to do. I know I would rather want to read all appropriate books then a book that is not appropriate.

No, some people may push for books that are not needed and may be dangerous for different kinds of people.
