-Collaboration in a classroom requires all teachers to effectively communicate to better understand the students' educational needs. By effectively communicating with other teachers, school administrators, and parents, everyone will have a better understanding of what the student needs. 
5. Teachers Ready to Work With Student's Needs
-Effective classroom collaboration requires all teachers to be prepared to meet the students' needs. The lead teacher will work with the special education teacher as well are paraprofessionals and teachers' aides to help assure that students receive the accommodations that they need as well as help to make sure that they are all working together.

The teachers divide the class in half and cover the same material and teach at the same time.
2. Alternative Teaching: In this co-teaching example, there is teacher that takes responsibility for a smaller group of the class. An example of alternative teacher is with special needs students in a regular classroom.
3. Station Teaching. This co-teaching example divides the class into groups, and then gives the content to each group. The other teacher may be presenting different content to other groups, or the students may be working on independent work.

9. The Lead Teacher Collaboration Model
The lead teacher provides the instruction to the student. The special education teacher then provides instruction to the students to assure they understand the information.

10. The Learning Centers Collaboration Model
Teachers all collaborate to provide different content area instruction to each student. The special education teachers support the content area teachers.
