The longest american war seems to be finally ending by September 11th. President Biden will be withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, since he determined a war in that country which has been killing over 2,300 US soldiers and costing more than $2 trillion no longer fits within the pressing foreign policy concerns of 2021. Biden seems to have been announcing that the withdrawal will be starting by May 1, in line with Trump's administration. However, it is necessary that some of the remaining American diplomats be protected by the troops. 

The president is alleged  to have achieved the military purpose by saying that after nearly two decades of putting  troops in harm's way, it is time to recognize that the United States have accomplished all that they could militarily, and that it's time to bring the remaining troops home. Since his administration recommended that American diplomats and humanitarian efforts  continue in Afghanistan and that the US support peace efforts between the Afghan government and the Taliban. But it is unequivocal that two decades after it began, the Afghanistan War be ended.

 According to CNN Washington, both of Biden's most recent predecessors are said to have been trying to end the war in Afghanistan, only by devolving security and backing up other the government. However, the current president made a different calculation and suggested that the US and the world simply move on. 

In conclusion, The US went to Afghanistan because of a horrific attack that happened 20 years ago. However, that is not a reason to keep fighting there in 2021, and rather than having their attention on the war with the Taliban, they will be focusing on the eventual challenges ahead.

After the big impact of the pandemic of Coronavirus over the music industry, that festival appears to be supporting vaccination through their own program #Vaxthenation.

It will be the first music festival in Australia that offers a vaccination center. The entrance will be simply way: arrive, register (personal information) and leave. Pfizer is going to be the vaccine administered, and it is essential to be applied by Queensland Health staff. All who want to be vaccinated will need to show their Medicare Card.

Organizers have built a clinical tent to attend close to 12,000 people during the festival. It is important that the organizers may construct a workplace with all the necessary tools, and suitable structure to the medical staff.

It is essential that biodiversity loss be halted. Nature also largely supports human well-being, but it needs incentives for nature-centered land management, whether it be through taxes and regulations or subsidies for ecosystem services.

With the pass of time, humanity appeared to have understood the impact of our interactions with nature. It is time to recognize that our long-term prosperity is based on rebalancing our demand for goods and services from nature, with its ability to supply them. This summer, the artist Annie Nicholson, commonly known as “The Fandangoe Kid”, seems to be hitting the road to talk about mental health during Covid 19 while going in a van sharing ice cream to be making happier everybody.

 

Since losing most of her close family in an accident in New York in 2011, Nicholson has used her creativity to publicly explore the issue of grief. She said that everybody appears to has been experiencing a loss of some sort this past year and still are dealing with that, whether it be a physical loss of loved ones or a loss of lifestyle and routine, or both. “How have we survived lockdown? How are we processing the grief of all we have lost? And how can we do this together?”, are the topics she's going to talk about it.

 

It is essential that grief be treated because is a part of life that comes to us all. She hopes to find ways in which everybody can start to heal so the world would be less overwhelming. She and her van are to be scheduled for the London Design Festival in September, as well as the Canary Wharf World Mental Health program 2021. Visitors can pop in for free ice cream and a chat, or sign up for a talk or workshop.

An ambitious project to be helping the earth. plant 50m trees in northern England has taken a step forward after the UK government pledged £15m to the cause on Monday., that seems to  be enough to plant 1m trees over the coming year – 3m have already been planted. 

An ambitious plan is to create a leafy corridor from Liverpool to Hull. It launched three years ago to boost tree numbers in an area that has just 7.6 per cent woodland cover.

Simon Mageean said: “This new funding is massively significant. It will allow us to establish over one million new trees this winter and connect them better to the wider landscape.”

He added: “These new trees have the power to transform people’s lives through all the green space they bring in areas of traditionally low tree cover, they are also set to bring a big boost to our fight against climate change and encourage nature recovery.”

Cows are being touted as the latest solution to plastic pollution

 

Scientist of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna seems to have been investigating a bacteria inside cow’s rumen, which could be a help to deal with the millions of tonnes of plastic that the people throws away annually.

The results of the research seem to be indicating that the bacteria could break down plastics in hours. The researchers recommend that the microbes responsible be identified to subsequently be incubated.

As plastic pollution becomes more problematic, the development of enzymes that can eat the stuff seems to be a solution for some Universities in the world. However, scientists are calling for a global treaty to phase out the production of virgin plastics by 2040

Carbios’ technology seems have been solving many of these problems, and they’re confident their demonstration plant will wrangle the support of corporations like PepsiCo, L’Oreal, and Nestle.

At the Clermont-Ferrand demonstration plant, a reactor about the size of a cargo van has the capacity to process around 100,000 ground-up plastic bottles, or around two tons of ground-up PET (polyethylene terephthalate) the most common form of plastic used for plastic bottles.
