         <description><![CDATA[<div>The wide expansion of Nike can be attributed to the following:</div><ul><li><em>Innovated Technology</em>: Nike's shoes  were always transforming, most notably with the "Air" technology in 1979.</li><li><em>Celebrity endorsements</em>: Many famous sports celebrities have become sponsors of Nike throughout the years, like Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, Kobe Bryant, and most significantly, Michael Jordan.<ul><li>(discussed more in the Culture section)</li></ul></li><li><em>Ad Campaigns</em>: One of the most successful ad campaigns in history is Nike's "Just Do It" campaign, launched in 1988 (see attached video).</li></ul>]]></description>
