A digital log system for all items in resources rooms, Factory and the Design Cave.

What is in the log:
Track of inventory (10 pencils etc.) 
Student that’s borrowing’s name
The student’s MAC coach
Time/block they borrowed 
What they’re borrowing
Learning Coach’s tick: for approval to borrow and use + signature after students have returned them

System: 
There will be digital Borrowing log that every learning coach has for the items in Kainga resource rooms, factory and Design Cave. If a student needs to use something, they get a go to a learning coach, fill in the information needed (above) and hand it to the Learning Coach for them to place a tick on the log/receive access to the resource room (Learning Coach’s keys). IF a Learning Coach’s keys were taken to get access, the student must return it after getting their item, but before using the item. When the student is done, they go to the Learning Coach that they went to previously and show that they have the item with them in good condition. If the item is presented and in good condition, the Learning Coach place a second tick on the log. Then the student comes along with the Learning Coach to where the item is to be returned to. This is to ensure that the item is officially returned and that it is returned properly. There is a punishment if a student doesn’t receive two ticks, gets an item without giving the log information, doesn’t return the item/damages the item. 

Side note: For this to work effectively, all items for students to borrow should be stored in a place that needs a Learning Coach’s keys to access.It’s better for the Learning Coaches not students to be in charge of the log as Learning Coach’s are more reliable and so students don’t miss class time to assist as monitors/get keys from a Learning Coach

Manu has a bag problem as not all but many learners place their bags beside the big wooden box and then those bags are always left on the floor, also when other learners see the bags lying on the ground, they all place their bag in that pile and it gets on increasing. Their are also some students, who place thier bags on the side couches and eventually when other students need the couches to sit or to do some work on them, they usually put the bags aside on the floor, which again promotes this problem. 

So, what can we do about it ?

First of all, learners should be highly encouraged to put their bags in their lockers, but if not then -

There can be a NTTCP (Name tags, tracking chart and Penalizing) followed whenever this problem occurs.
There should be a kind of rule, that whoever places their bag on the floor or even inside the wooden box or inside the wooden shelf, they have to have a name tag on their bag, so teachers or other learners know whose bag is on the floor or who is continuously leaving their bag on the floor. Secondly, their should be a 'Bag Monitor' (who can actually be roatetd every week, like 1st week from ISE MAC, second week from JIP MAC and so on) that person will be checking all the bags before morning tea everyday as the whole Manu stays together and then also on the other days, when the whole Kainga is together. Then they can make a tracking chart of the bags, like they will write the learners name and will then give warnings like it could 3 times this person has left their bag on the floor and so now if he/she does it the fourth time, they can get penalized such as they'll have to arrange all the lying bags in the shelves properly or they will have to do the duty of the bag monitor for that whole day/week.   1. To add camera’s/cctv not in the actual toilets, just facing the doors of the cubicle so that we can see who did it, what they did and how much damage they caused.
  2. To add a key-pad to only the disable toilets so that other people won’t use them and only the disabled can use them by asking a teacher for there key card things and scan it on the key-pad, plus the other people won’t cause damages in the disable toilet's
  3. Lastly, when it’s class-time, when someone needs to go to the toilet's, they have to ask the teachers if they can go to the toilet’s, if they say yes, the teachers will put a timer on for how long they take to come back and if the timer goings up a certain time, the teachers will know if they are waging (doing something else) or the teachers can check the toilets if they are there, plus there will be tags that if a student needs to go to the bathroom, they can wear that tag on there jacket, t-shirt or sweater so that other people know that there going to the bathroom.
Punishments:
1. Make them clean up there mess.
2. Lose Kangia points.
3. Make them stay in for a certain amount of time when breaks happen.

Each Friday, there will be kainga time where the kainga has to guess the people who were in charge of the task.
