1-As we use listening material from coursebooks (not all ), I also prefer using authentic materials like songs, news from online sites, conversations from real life etc. The materials from daily lives are very important as most of the students don't use English in their daily lives. By this way , they see the examples .

2- In Active listening part, I learned a lot . Students develops their communication skills and can be more active .we can differentiate the activities of the same material acc. to the levels of the students. This part was good.

the

Flipgrid apps is good for language classes. I will use it. Also “paper video “was very interesting and usable. It allows cooperation within a group and let everybody talk.

Galery walk activiy can be interesting for students. I wil use it.

The teachers should encourage the learners to speak English by exlaining the necessity and importance of speaking.

In my lessons , I will definitely differentiate the activities to take the attention of my Ss. I will try to motivate my students during my lessons.I will also consider the levels of learners. The applications and websites mentioned today are usefull and can be used for different types of teaching purposes.
I had known flipgrid before but I hadnt used it sofar. in my speaking classes it will help to motivate my students who are not brave enough to speak English in front of the others

Here we are practicing groupworking . Doing a project as a group and talking about it on" Chat corners " was very inspiring for me. I will try pair-work and group work in language classes . However , process writing is a bit difficult but may be I can try in the project classes, which have more English hours and higher levels . Process writing can be applied collobratively as agroup work or pairwork. Otherwise, it would be a time consuming activity because of the number of the students.

In PLC meetings I think my colleagues may like snack writing because it is more applicable than the other approaches because of the crowded classes.

1- I have learned the difference between a warm-up and a lead- in in today’s lesson. While teaching reading the English levels of the students are mostly different. In a mixed ability class, pre- reading part as the most important l point is to get the students's attention and interest. I can use some videos, flashcards or photos at the very beginning of the activity and play a guessing game.In this way, the learners' interest are triggered .

While reading, first teacher read the text and the new words' pronounciation. And then some time is given to Ss for silent reading. For a difficult or longer texts , jigsaw reading can be a good idea. In this way the Ss with better English level can support the others, the students get more information about the text in a group or in a pair. True / False or Multiple Choice questions are beneficial for low level learners but for the students who have better English competence , open ended questions are OK.

Post reading part is necessary to reinforce the information learned during the activity . Any activities such as preparing some videos or posters about the text or some drawing .

2-In my school , there are students who generally don’t like doing reading and speaking activities. They dont want to read loudly because of the lack of pronounciation info. we have 5 hours of lessons a week for 9th grades and 2 for the rest of the classes.I encouraged them to use online sites, " news in levels" to read and also listen the record of the text during the education year. Today in the sessions I have also learned some new apps which can also be used by the students . They will probably love them. ı will ask them to prepare posters and videos etc. I will share the ideas about the usage of these apps with my colleagues and we will brainstorm about effective ways of using these with different levels.

I find lang.portfolios very effective because it leads to a greater autonomy since they involve learners’ responsibility.Hovever , it can be a problem in large classes. We have two wriiten exams in our local area. As we are trying to keep up with the curriculum and having lack of lesson hours ( 2 hours) , we cant do continous assesment.

I cant apply peer assesment or self assesment in my classes.

I think personalising a new word is the most effective vocabulary teaching method. it allows students to make connection between their lives and their experiences. By drawing the pictures of the new vocabulary, Ss can easily memorise the new vocabulary. they can prepare their own vocabulary notebook.

I think diagrams for collocations, parts of speech/grammar will be useful for students for low level students.

Additionally, students enjoy using tools to play games, do activities, prepare schoolwork, etc. All the schools in my area have smart boards and internet connections, teachers can use these programs in their classrooms.
