Management is a skill everyone uses daily, whether they realize it or not. It’s about organizing your time, setting priorities, and making sure you're moving toward your goals. Beyond personal tasks, management also involves handling resources—like time, money, or people—to get things done more effectively. One way to look at it is through the cycle of "Plan, Do, Check, Act." First, you figure out what needs to be done (Plan), then you put those ideas into action (Do). Afterward, you review the results to see how things turned out (Check) and make adjustments to improve next time (Act). This cycle helps us stay on track and make continuous improvements in both personal and professional areas. When done well, management can boost productivity, reduce stress, and keep us moving toward our long-term dreams.

From my perspective, Management is the essential practice of coordinating and overseeing the work of others to achieve specific goals and objectives. It involves using resources such as people, time, and money to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Key components of management include planning, which involves setting goals and determining the best way to achieve them; organizing, which arranges resources and tasks in a structured way; leading, which motivates and guides individuals or teams toward the organization’s objectives; and controlling, which monitors progress and makes necessary adjustments to stay on track. Management is crucial in all types of organizations, from businesses to non-profits, as it helps align efforts and resources toward common goals.

I thought it can only be applied and define in a certain company, whereby the employees and the superiors come together to identify and set their goals to be achieved the standards as criteria of their performance. But as I go along the lessons, it was correlated on the essence of working in a laboratory as a future health scientist, management plays a significant role by overseeing resources, operations, personnel, safety protocols and compliance with laboratory regulations.

The way I understand management is all about enhancing your capabilities to cope up with a given task under time, resources, and pressure. Management starts in the self on how we allocate activities in our brain. If our mind is disorganised, the systems in our body might not function optimally. Every member of a team must have a sense of clear mind to effectively work together and open mindedly discuss things. Here therefore, what I have learned from the lesson is to take up responsibility for planning, directing, controlling, and leading for the purpose of achieving the goal.

Management is a type of managing production in a broad concept of life. Management organizes and manages lots of tasks in order to achieve a goal. Greater production is the result of improving operations and performance. Management systems track the tasks, time frame, and workflow of staff/medical staff to identify the processes that provide the highest levels of productivity. In an organization, there will always be a guide that can lead the way or handle things better in a good manner. Especially in this kind of era, we are more cautious and aware that in the medical field, people should apply professional ethics and values as medical students and professionals. However, we can apply it to all parts of work, such as planning, defining, maximizing, organizing, and other processes that help us people achieve our goals. The primary objective of improving management is to make people more responsible and disciplined in a workplace. But more importantly, it will also make us more determined to focus on the things we need to improve. Taking more steps is another chance to grow and learn towards success.

Management, for me, is like "organizing" and "self-discipline." Organizing in a way that you always ensure that every aspect is well arranged or aligned towards your plan. This can be done by having efficient planning that enables you to look forward to challenges that may come. And self-discipline, because when it comes to a day-to-day basis, it is important to ensure that everything that you do remains smooth and productivity is still there. This approach helps to avoid being chaotic in life. That's why management is very important, because this is not just about keeping things in order; it is also about how you will achieve a goal in a task or even in life in a properly structured way.

One of the most important aspects of success is management. We often misunderstand the true meaning of management, we think of it as only organizing things beyond your care but there is more than just that. Management involves you to think critically about your decision. Whether it's people, money, or resources, the goal is to achieve certain objectives efficiently and effectively. It entails planning, organizing, leading, and controlling numerous operations inside an organization to ensure that goals are achieved methodically. It is about making judgments that balance short-term requirements with long-term objectives, all while remaining adaptable to changing conditions. I feel that a successful manager is someone who can see the broad picture, grasp the details, and push a team to work together towards a single goal. It involves assessing the situation and thinking about the future of your work. Management is also composed of having patience with your staff and dedication to your goal, without having to understand management, you will not be able to reach success because your work will be disorganized and the path towards it is not clear. Management is the driving force behind any successful organization, providing the structure and direction required to overcome obstacles and capitalize on opportunities. It's an ever-evolving procedure involving critical thinking and interpersonal skills to guarantee that every aspect of the organization works together towards a common goal.

In my opinion, management is about bringing people and resources together to maximize potential. It's not just about completing tasks, but about leading with purpose, making thoughtful decisions, and creating an environment where everyone can succeed. Effective management requires understanding each person's strengths and needs, adapting to challenges, and finding the balance between achieving goals and supporting the team's well-being. Ultimately, it's about inspiring and guiding others toward a shared vision while fostering growth and innovation.

The lexical definition of management is, the control and organization of something. On the other hand, according to Mary Parker Follet(1868-1933),”Management is the art of getting things done through people.”

Personally, management for me is the art of controlling the situation to the best of one`s ability in order to prevent foreseen and unforeseen circumstances that may disorganize the order and flow of the workplace, organizational or professional setting. Management is an extensive overview and control of the different functions of a group, thus seeing to it that those respective functions are accomplished successfully in a timely manner.

Management is a strategy a person or an organization uses to achieve a successful goal. It is an important function involved in achieving tasks on a daily basis, whether it is a house chore, a study plan, a vacation trip, or even a group activity. It can be applied to achieving both long-term and short-term goals by determining and setting goals for your plan along with strategies needed, organizing the resources needed, leading the plan and the people involved, and monitoring the progress to achieve a positive outcome. An example is when you are working in a group activity. It is important to set objectives and clear goals to achieve the outcome you want for your group, to know how you will organize with your team about the resources you need to increase productivity and efficiency, how your visions lead to your success, and what more adjustments you need to improve for a better and more positive outcome.
