She would call me black and ugly and say I look like Chris Tucker. My sister is of a lighter complexion and because of that, in society, she is considered beautiful and I am not because I have a darker complexion. Every time we went somewhere together she would always try to embarrass me and call me out of my name and everyone would just laugh. This caused me to grow up thinking I was ugly. When I got to high school and I met my group of friends they taught me to love myself and showed me that beauty is what is on the inside, not the outside. I am very ambitious and kind (most of the time). I have a beautiful heart and soul and nobody can tell me otherwise.
