Go to Resources. Get the book entitled Teaching English language learners through technology. Read Section  2.4 (pp. 79-83) and write a summary of what you have read. Present your summary in class, then submit the summary in the Forum section of this LMS.

 

2. Use the same book. Read Section 2.3 (pp. 65-78) for examples of how technology can be integrated into lessons in any content area.

Remember: Integrating technology can be as simple as asking students to google search for information, and then use Power Point to present what they've found. Of course technology can also be a lot more sophisticated, but it does not have to be. 

Then work in groups to discuss how you can integrate technology into the lesson plan that you submitted in the previous semester. Write a report of your discussion to submit as assignment for week 2 (deadline will be mid-week, to be announced later via the LMS).
