There are many ways in which we can demonstrate kindess and consideration. One simple way would be, offering our seat for the elderies. By standing up, and let the elderly sit down, we could show care and concern towards the marginalised group of people especially the elderlies.

We can demonstrate kindness through small and big acts. Small acts being helping someone who slips and falls, or even helping an elderly carry groceries while crossing the road. Big acts like approaching someone who seems distant and asking about their issues. There is a saying that goes “A small act of kindness can go a long way.” Therefore I believe that even the slightest act of kindness can make the biggest difference in one’s life. Another way a person can demonstrate kindness is through socializing and emphasizing with one another when one shares their issues and problems in life. By doing so, one can influence a chain reaction of kindness in that individual by emphasizing with one another.

Qn1 Yes because it helps me understand the elderly and understand their problems better so that I can help solve them one such similar activity that I been in is the via trip to silverace elderly care through this activity it help me understand and empathise with the elderly so I can take better care of them in my family when my parent get older. I would like to participate as it makes me feel them and understand them better. So I know what they are going through on a daily basis and what they are constantly think of which will allow them to sympathize with them better

I agree to a large extent that Singaporeans are less gracious because they have more platforms for them to express their hate like social media to hate on others. Not only that, people are more coming forth to express their thoughts and opinions explicitly although it may not sound pleasant. They are also unhappy because of the high standard of living like GST and electricity bills. Hence, they become more angsty. Some opinions of the minority might feel like they do no have a national identity which makes them feel marginalised. ☺

I would like to participate in the activity to experience how it is like to live like them and understand them more so we can relate to them and be more understanding towards the disabled and elderly and create a more gracious society by sharing our experience after participating in the activity. We are also able to strengthen our sympathy and empathy with the marginalised group and be more knowledgable about the ways we can help them in need. There are many ice cold hearted people who despise them and ostracise them. We need to raise awareness about them and advocate this issue, and remind these people that we are all humans and we deserve equal respect, no matter one’s age and abilities.

Yes i agree to a great extent. People nowadays when seeing someone whom needs help, they tend to ignore and just pretend they saw nothing and move on. They also don't take very kindly to foreigners coming over to Singapore as they would rather insult them instead of welcoming them. For example,Many Singaporeans dislike the fact that foreigners occupy Job opportunities and Housing spaces for living and think that these foreigners do not deserve to live in Singapore. However, there are still some kind souls in this world that still lend a helping hand without hesitation. I also feel that most singaporeans are very rude and pessimistic towards our foreign friends, using words like invade and mine , making them look very selfish to everyone other than themselves.

We can demonstrate kindness and consideration by simply greeting people around us. A simple "Good Morning" "Hello" would brighten up people's day. Volunteering to help out the community like charity work for example helping out at the elderly care centres or visiting orphanages to play with the kids is one way we can spread kindness and consideration to everyone. No act of kindness, no matter how big or small is ever wasted.
