No longer are students subject to instructional whims of a teacher but can now become direct partners in the learning process. The move from a teacher-centered to a student-centered learning environment is perhaps one of the greatest benefits of Blended Learning. Web based tools help to enrich this environment in that they allow both teachers and students to present information in a variety of ways, that is they have multiple modes of expression. My favorite tools for this purpose are Prezi, Animoto and Edmondo. Students have new ways to show problem solving skills and to demonstrate their understanding of skills/concepts taught. The teacher has new ways to provide and present instructional material. Edmondo facilitates teacher to student, student to teacher and student to student interactions. With these tools students have opportunities to wok collaboratively and through one-on-one interactions with teacher and students, All learners including visual, kinethetic, auditory, learning disabled and advanced students, get the opportunity to learn in their best mode and   pace.
