For many of them it is a vision they gained from video games in the early 2000s, but as technology evolved, more and more possibilities to realise augmented vision were created.
However, many people do not know the importance this technology gains at the moment.

This collection was made to clarify how AR effects many different kinds of use cases. The goal was to give an overview of the many possibilities the expansion of reality with computerised assistance gives us. 

In order to build a foundation for the research the first effort was to gain a rough insight into the application areas AR is used in.

It was figuered out that the topics  education, industry and automobility have the most widespread implementations of applied augmented reality to date, which is why these were selected as the main topics.

Subsequently the deeper research began. Videos, posted on websites, are a common source of content about augmented reality on the Internet. There are plenty of those and they contain lots of information and visualize the latter in direct coherence as well. Therefore, the research was rather unusual compared to other topics.
As soon as the research was done the next step included separating the gained knowledge to prevent overlaps in between the main topics. It already turned out that there are lots of approaches to gain augmented experience and it would go beyond the scope to present them all. So the decision was made to shorten some parts up to prevent an overwhelming plenty of information.

Most suprising was the fact, that augmented reality is not just a technology for private users. There are also abundant commercial and industrial applications.

Last but not least it is safe to state that augmented reality will become more and more important in the daily life of humans and will improve many more matters, even if we do not know them yet.
