Anyone can make the world a better place. All you have to do is start your day by making your bed. Making your bed starts your day with a task complete, and one task will turn in to two, and two will turn into three. If you want to make the world a better place, do the little things right. Throughout the video, Admiral William H. McRaven gives small adjustments to your everyday behavior, mindset, and attitude. At the end of Hell Week of SEAL training, the mud flats are meant to be difficult to see who will quit, and who will stay and fight in terrible conditions. In life, there are many mudflats and many sharks, but with hope, you can get through it all and make the world a better place. What is your one task completed a day? What is your hope that gets you through your mudflats? What do you hope to make better for the next generation?

My one task completed a day is my makeup. It sounds silly but every day when I get up and get ready I do my makeup and it is one thing I do just for me. No one talks to me, it's just me and my brushes and foundation and mascara. If I have a face of makeup on, I can face the day. No it isn't some strong and courageous thing but it helps me get through the day. For the future generations, I would like to create a world full of equality. I want to take steps to a society where people are treated justly and with respect. I want people to break social norms. I want people to do what they love and what makes them feel like a better person, even if that is doing some makeup every day.

I don`t think that a have just one task that I do each day but rather, a routine. On the days that I don`t do this routine, I always feel off and have little motivation to get through my day. Physical activity gets me through my mudflats. Being in a sport almost all year-round, I cant imagine not being active

I don't necessarily have a single task that I complete everyday. I feel like I should but honestly, I don't. My "hope" that gets me through the mud flats of each day is my family and my friends. They continue to inspire me to keep going, no matter how difficult the situation may be. I hope that the next generation begins to appreciate the Earth we live on. I hope that we steer away from the constant pressure of social media and focus on the most important issue- our Earth slowly dying.

I hope that for the next generation we can reduce the effects of climate change and pollution in the world. I hope that trophy hunting will stop altogether and that all the animals on the endangered species list will come off of it. In order to do this I try to recycle everything I can and reduce the amount of plastic that goes into the ocean and kills marine life. We can raise awareness for issues that will matter in a number of years when the world will no longer even be inhabitable because of the damage we have caused. To make this better for the next generation we need to speak out about these issues and inspire change in people to do good.

There is not a specific thing that I do everyday, I get up, get ready, and go to school. I think that if you have specific things you do each morning, when you do not do these things it you have an off day. What gets me through the tough days, the mud, is my friends and my family. They encourage me everyday to do my best.

Each day, I make sure to call my grandma. My grandma always cheers me up, no matter how I am feeling. If I do not call her, I do not get the encouragement I need for the next day. My grandma is my best friend and biggest supporter, so if I do not get the chance to talk to her, my day just is not the same. I would not call this a "task" because that makes it sound forced, but rather more of a routine because I love to talk to her. She also gives me the hope that I need each and every day. Also, all of the strong people that I look up to give me hope, like my parents. I hope for future generations that we can make our planet cleaner and happier. I think that if the planet is cleaner, then we will all be happier anyway. It is heartbreaking to think that our future children will not get to see some of the beauties that we were blessed with when growing up. Our planet is still beautiful, but it is dying, and I would hate for future generations to not be able to see everything that we have.
