The purpose of my course is to help immigrant who can understand very little English to learn basic English for their daily life using. It provides a chance for these immigrants who need help in their English, especially low-income immigrant families, disabled adults and the elderly. By completing my course, I hope the students can improve their English skills to be succeed in the US society. Also, by taking my course, I wish I can help new immigrants to understand more about American culture from both in-class assignments and out-of-class activities.
