Like Water for Chocolate it tells me about the world region is that they live in a ranch and they worked hard to become what they wanted to be in a future. The women in the book seem to always be in the kitchen and that was their job and for the men work to protect the women. The book shows how faith is a really big part in this because to be with the person she wanted to it was left to faith to happened because it was not easy to achieve. This book shows people that even though something is hard to achieve and it has many challenges to achieve that if you have patience it will happen.

This poem matters to me because it is supporting the idea that nobody is left behind and you work hard to achieve what you want. This poem for the people around me should see how it is a poem that talks about everyone behind a hole and achieve then dreams. Trip would be important for everyone this poem for the poor see this poem as a way that god helps them get to be able to do if it is also if it is easy.

I was not aware about the fact that the people that were in those places stayed in the land were then seen as Americans, but they were not treated exactly the same as the rest. This mattered to me because

Jessica's Angels

https://www.wattpad.com/494343921-jessica%27s-angels
The story I wrote takes in Palos Altos, Jalisco which is a pueblo that is located in Mexico. The way I incorporated my world region on my story was about a typical family that would live in a ranch in Mexico. A typical Mexican family stay together and help each other out even if the situation is hard. Jessica's parents died in a car accident but they have four kids and the oldest in Jessica and instead of putting them in adoption she tries her hardest and grows faster, so she can take care of them. She meets someone who is great and is named Jose but she has to many responsibilities and decides not to be with him. She faces many challenges and when she needs help her parents appear and helps her out. I feel like this story would matter to people because it shows things that people actually face like the fact that the siblings sometimes have to take care of the rest because parents aren't there or sometimes parents are there but they don't care for them. I think it is important to show all the things she faced but she never decided to give up.I think this story would matter to people around you because it lets them know that life is not easy but you should not give up. I think it matters to the world because it is not a typical romance story but is more realistic and show that being with someone is not as simple as they make it look, if you don't actually try it would actually not be as you thought.

I decided to interview I girl from my school who she immigrated at a young age to the United States. I asked her questions such as the things that she realizes that are different from here and there, as well as questions like asking her what are things that she faced her. One of the biggest things she faced her was the fact that she did not know the language. Because her first language was spanish and in Mexico they do not teach english so she struggled because she felt like she did not fit in since her friends here would speak in english and she did not know what they were saying. She told me they came here because they did not have enough money, and they came for better opportunities here in the US. I got more insight as to how life is in Mexico and that it is not easy.It is not easy in US either but they work hard because they get more opportunities here then in Mexico. Also I learned that from were she is from which is Leon Guanajuato their are not much gangs but poverty their is and they struggle a lot which is why they have decided to immigrate to the United States with their family so they can have more money and give their kids more opportunities and a better education.POlitics she said that she did not know of a new law that they passed have that if you pass a test you can go to college but if you don't pass it you don't get the chance to do study which she said she finds unfair because they don't get a chance.

This novel focuses on how the life of a child is sometimes when their parents leave them behind with another family member. It taught me more about how hispanic do struggle a lot when they arrive here but they also struggle a lot if they are left behind by one of their parents.

The legend that we used was La Llorona we learned more about their culture because it talks about the place that she lived in and that she did not come from a rich family and it shows that they live in a small town. I think something that I learned a lot about s the stories that they tell in Mexico and how normally they are to scare kids, and when I was finding versions of the legend in one of them it talked about how they normally say the story of la llorona as a way for them to keep their kids away from the river because they are afraid that they will fall into the water but if they are told they story then they won't get near. Another thing I learned how in the small villages in Mexico they are all pretty close and know many stuff about each other. We worked on typical music in the background which we used mariachi and the landscape and how the villages looked.

The legend that my group chose was la llorona. We found different versions of it, but the one that had the whole story shows us how Maria changes at the end of the story in spirit because she becomes la llorona at the end of the story after she throws herself down the river after she realizes that she killed both of her kids. She killed both of her kids just because her husband left her and when he came back he only payed attention to his kids a not her. The lesson it teaches is that you have to have more control over yourself because she didn't want to kill them she regrets it.

Also he is hispanic and he talks about how where he lives a lot of gangs are formed, and the reason that he joined it was because he believed it would help him with girls. Also he talks about how his all of his family work to be able to bring money home because the dad does not bring in money because he is always drunk and does not really care. This book matters to me because it shows that we all don't have a perfect life and we struggle with different things. I think it will matter to the people around me because it informs them more and they may be able to relate because we work hard to be a difference in America. This book might matter to the world because it lets them know the things that immigrants struggle with and how they don't get the opportunities as everyone else does in America, and how immigrants are not treated equally.

I did enjoy making the website, but I was not able to make the pages be separate and it did not let me change it. Other than that I feel like it made me understand the book better. Because it made me analyze more the events and the characters.I think my website is captivating and successful in analyzing the novel because I put subtitles for the assignments and tittles for the theme, plot and characters. I also analyzed what was happening in the novel and the things the main characters go through. This book matters to me because it shows me the steps that el gato has to go through to be able to become what he wanted to be. this book might matter to the people around me because it shows them how when you don't have much money they see that person as they can't go far like for him they said he would become a logger. This book matters to the war because it shows that if you don't give up and work for what you one anything is possible.

Cultural Exchange Project (Mexico)

I did like doing the cultural exchange project because it taught me more about the country and it also let me meet new people and be able to work with people that I had never talked to, so I think this project made me be ready for presentations and team work. We all worked hard to get our point across and to teach the kids about the culture in Mexico. Because I think it is important to know the culture of different places even though you are not from there, I think it helps you grow as a person and learn how other people live. Also it helped get out of my shell by talking to a group of kids I had never meet before and I was not nervous to present in front of them because we were all prepared. I think something that I would do differently maybe is just to have more time to decorate the room. I think we just needed more time for it even though we had a lot because the room had to look presentable and had to feel like Mexico. Before the project I was a bit nervous because the kids got there early and we did not have the time to finish decorating and also it was a group of kids that I had never meet before. During the project I felt like it was a lot of fun and at the same time that they were learning and I think that the important part was that. After the project I felt confident that we all had done a great job because we all worked hard and prepared ourselves for it. This cultural exchange project matters to me because I was able to learn more about the culture and we were able to teach them about it. This project matters to the people around because it is where I come from and it teaches about the culture and also gives them the background and information that is important to learn about Mexico. This project matters to the world because it teaches them about a different country not just where they come from which is a good thing to have background and information about a different country.W<figure class="attachment attachment--preview"

The project with the winter olympics taught me new things about Chile that I did not know about. I found out by this that the second greatest lake is located in Chile and it is named Llanquihue. Also that the country's favorite sport is soccer. Als that it is the world largest country north to south. Form the winter olympics the opening ceremonies are big and they are really interesting and exciting.
