WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO LEARN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE?

Many people often want to learn a controversial language. An international language that is beneficial for them. Although, not being an Native English speaker, it can be quite difficult for someone else who is not an English mother tongue speaker to learn the English language.

For some English is an excellent language of choice, whereby for others, it is not. Many believe that English is the language of success and that learning the English language is going to benefit them regarding the success of their career.

Now this is enough facts and information for now. Lets take a look at the different aspects relating to WHY learning the English language is important:

1. LANGUAGES MEANS MORE OPPORTUNITIES
More opportunities than I would otherwise ever have had a chance to experience have come to me because I know a lot of languages. To me, languages mean opportunities

I learned IsiXhosa and for me this was a very interesting experience and also a roller coaster as the same time. Learning this language enabled me to communicate with Isixhosa speakers. I am also now able to make basic conversations, and being able to kind of understand what they are speaking about when they are communicating among themselves.

2. IT'S THE LINGUA FRANCA.

Though I have experienced great success and enjoyment from learning a different language other than English, whether we like it or not, English is the most useful language in the world. We may wish that other languages like; IsiXhosa or IsiZulu, etc are international languages, but the real situation is that wherever you go in the world, the common language is English.

Now as I mentioned it can be very difficult and uncomfortable for some people to learn the English language. Lets' take a look at how you can make this learning experience FUN and ENJOYABLE.

This eventually brings me down to tip number 3:

3. PERSONALIZE THE LEARNING PROCESS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
if It isn’t overwhelming enough wanting to be fluent in the English language. In order to actually learn English, you have to LIKE learning English. That doesn’t mean that you have to like everything about the culture of English-speaking countries. You don’t have to like all American music or other English Native speaking people you meet. You don’t have to like them all, but you have to find something you like. For example; music, movies, books, and a friend.

You have to find something you like and then devote yourself to cultivating that relationship with the book, person, music or whatever it is and not worry too much about your grammar or speaking correctly. These things don’t matter so much. Most people who use English as a second language make mistakes, so don't worry about it :)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST . . RIGHT NOW YOU ARE PROBABLY THINKING TO YOURSELF, IS IT WORTH IT?

YES IT IS!!

In order to connect with other people who live in different countries, to connect with their culture and their way of thinking, is tremendously enriching to your life. It will enable you to be more successful because through your language you will be able to access more opportunities and connections. Not because you get a job as a translator, but because if you are somewhere traveling and find yourself sitting on a plane beside someone who is from another country, if you have a common language, you can speak to that person. It is highly likely that common language will be English.

From that you will meet people who will be helpful to you or will in other ways enrich your life because they will become friends.

That's ALL from me, for now. Please give a LIKE and COMMENT your opinions regarding this post.

ALSO . . .
If you are interested in learning the English language, click HERE.

HAPPY CHATTING EVERYONE :)
