One way we can bring more awareness to our certain topics is by using websites that have been already created. These websites can help spread awareness. I know that many peoples topics were about stereotypes. Some people joke about it, but in reality it can really affect on how someone thinks about themselves. This really resonated with me because I feel like I joked about stereotypes a little bit but now I know that it is wrong. I have just realized after listening to many presentations that this project has actually helped all of us open our eyes to all the bad stereotypes and things that are happening across the world.

A way we can bring more awareness to our topics is by telling those who do not know they are effecting Indians. Stereotypes such as being good at math and having their parents strict are not all true. Although some might be strict, not all of them say "If you get an A- then you are a disgrace". A lot of parents of all races are strict so why focus it on Asians and Indians?

I think we can bring more awareness fro all social justice topics by educating. Whether that be through speeches, word of mouth, or anything else education can be something everyone can benefit from. Stereotypes can be eliminated if everyone is educated about that subject.

Female stereotypes are something every woman faces. I think women need to be more open about their feelings, and others need to show more compassion.

Racial stereotypes are apart of everyday life. No matter what, people are going to acknowledge that one skin tone is darker than another. People can help manage this by really thinking before speaking. How would you feel if someone made an offensive comment about your race?

Having a public space for all people is really important in a community. It is the right of the people to have a common space to enjoy the beautiful lake. Today so many people gather on the beaches, and so to not have it would be a huge disappointment.

Sometimes we need to stop and think before we say something as it may be offensive.

Females have been limited by female stereotypes for centuries and it's something that everyone should be aware of. Spreading awareness will help women by recognizing their inner-voices saying all these stereotypical things. Education is important.

The death row is incredibly unfair. The racial bias and socioeconomic bias makes it even more unjust. I think we need to spread awareness about the unjust punishments, but even then, it would be hard to completely stop the death penalty.

I really enjoyed and appreciated Mia's project because it included basically all social justice issues that are happening now. The song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

One way that we can raise awareness is by going out into the community telling people about the struggle that people go through. For instance when people mock Asian people they might find it funny, but Asian's do not find jokes about there race funny at all. I think that we should talk to anybody who you see being racist, and tell them that they are not doing the right think, and that they should think about how they would feel if people were mocking them that way. If you ever find yourself in the position when you are about to make a racist joke or comment you should think for 1 moment, and think if that will hurt anyone's feelings.

Matthew: Getting bullied by Race

Short video but very impacting it was well made and the concept said a lot about being bullied by your race.

Lucas: The Difference in pay According to race

Sounded a lot like my presentation and since I have researched it myself I feel like his information is very correct and to the point, and yes it is very important in my opinion.

Grace/Amelia: Bullying

How might bullying might not be here but other schools and places. Very good message in the video and everything their is very true I have seen bullying and been in bullying situations myself, and I know it is not a joke and it is a very serious situation that needs to come to an end/stop.

Kendall: Mental Illness awareness

Nice picture very detailed and really well made. Well said and I have also had friends and people I know who go through this and it is a con of being a genius/gifted.

Maddie H. : Mental Health awareness (Suicides)

Like Kendall's but very well said in the manner of the suicide portion of mental health awareness. The picture was very descriptive and well made because I know she worked on it for awhile and it came out great. She could of talked a little louder since I couldn't hear her very well.

Marcus: Racial/Gender stereotyping

People are being accused for doing stuff because of there gender/race and being found bad for some people of a race or gender compared to others of a different race or gender.

EveAnee: LGBQ/Rights in general
or Depression

People are ignoring LGBQ society.
Research shows that LGBQ people are more likely to commit suicide or do something bad to themselves. I think the pictures and video explained the problem well.

Joshua: Asian People Stereotypes

Really well made rap but I feel like a lot of the start was somewhat racist, but he ended with a very good rhyme/rap about how it was bad.

Antonio: Men Vs. Women wage

AMAZING WELL SAID!!!!

We can talk about it more in school. We can notice when it is happening and bring more attention to it. The way it was presented showed that this is something that does exist in the world and that it applies to everyone. (Matthew)

We can also talk about it more than we do . Also talking about what's happening is something we can do. I didn't know about this at all and so it informed me. It was presented very professionally so it got the point across.(Grace and Amelia)

We can discuss this more. (For the 2 first question.) The drawing made the subject stand out. We can talk about it more. The picture amplifies the topic well.(Marcus)

We talk about the issues more. Talk about these issues. The was it was presented was different than other presentations about similar topics. The art was also a way to remember what we need to be aware of.(Freddie)

This is an important subject because it also is not always addressed. The picture emphasized the topic.(Joseph)

We should discuss this more and what we can do to help. The amount of women in the government.(George)

We should talk about it and encourage it to be talked about more. The font on the picture made the topic seem important.(Grayson)

We never talk about this topic in detail.

Matthew's presentation was not bad, but was not very informative in terms of facts of any studies that may have been done and did not have a specific message at all.

Lucas's presentation was very good and informative. The image made his project very clear. Matthew was short and sustinct which is good. Grace and Amelia's was verry good and they obviously put alot of work into it. the message to stop bullying was made very clear in the video. Kendall has a good name for her project. She has great facts about mental illness. Her canvas was very good. Maddie also had a lot of facts about mental illness that were very interesting. She spoke a little fast but it was slow enough to still understand. The painting was very good as well. Marcus was very detailed. He's trying to raise awareness. Very abstract image and interesting. Evanne's topic was one that no one else talked about. Her artwork/video was very original and it was good that she was able to explain it. Antonio's presentation was very good and he had a good topic to talk about wages between male and female. Very good. Doogy's was about North Korea and the collage looked professionally done. Freddy's collage looks a little unproffesional but his facts and speaking were good. Joseph's topic is important because education is very important in order to succeed in life. George had good facts and a nice idea. Grayson's picture was very professional and I didn't know those facts. Daniel taught about the history of Israel but he did not have a lot of facts which is bad.

Matthew's presentation was on a very important topic. His video was powerful and his presentation was clear. We are not exposed to this topic as much as others so we don't think about it as much but it is important and needs to be stopped.

The facts were interesting and informative. Racial discrimination is a very important topic and even though it is not a huge problem at Quest, it is a huge problem in society and it was good that he addressed that.

Maddie's presentation was great. I loved the canvas painting and her presentation was very interesting. I loved her facts - they were eye-opening. I thought that pictures like hers will bring more awareness to topics as serious as this.

I really liked Marcus's presentation. The explanation was good and concise. I liked his graphic. Nice! Racial/Gender stereotyping is a HUGE problem that I am sure all of us have encountered. We need to broaden our minds.

I loved Kendall's topic. It is a great drawing. I wish I had gotten a longer look at the drawing but from what I saw, it was AMAZING! Mental Illness is a HUGE PROBLEM. I have encountered it personally and I know people who have. We need to make sure we know about these topics so we can help others.

EveAnne was right. We don;t talk about the LGBTQ community in school frequently. I like that she brought it up when we don't generally talk about it. Great presentation. People also get bullied for this topic which is SO WRONG.

Joshua's was creative and it was very powerful. I did not appreciate people who were laughing because it was a serious topic and not meant to be humorous. I loved the rhyming and the topic resonated with me. Great Job!

Antonio's presentation was kind of short but the facts were clear. I wished he had talked louder because the information he was giving sounded good.

Doogy's presentation was great. I liked his graphic and the unique aspect that he chose to highlight when talking about poverty.

Freddie's presentation gave a very important message. I think that this needs to be addressed. I wish he had added more facts but overall it was GREAT.

Joseph's presentation was good. I will he would have talked a bit louder because I really wanted to hear what he had to say but I liked his graphics and I thought it was great!

I really liked George's project. I liked his information and I could hear him the entire time. He gave many interesting facts that I did not know. I liked the drawing too!

I liked Grayson's facts and I could hear him the entire time. I really loved his picture. I thought it looked very professional! GREAT JOB!!!!!

I really liked Daniel's presentation. The information was amazing. From the Holocaust to problems that Jews are still facing today, it is a good thing that this topic was addressed. I thought that his image was powerful and could raise awareness to this difficult topic.

Matthew - Matthew's was nice, except it was short, and though it brought out a message, it did not show a problem. Although that was fixed by the explanation at the beginning.
---------------------------------------------------------
Grace and Amelia - I would say a lot of positive things about this presentation, but I think this information has been repeated several times. Except for the suiciding and stuff.
Also, nice stop motion.
---------------------------------------------------------
Lucas - Lucas's presentation really opened my eyes. 26% difference between wages in black and white? Guess racism never went away even a little bit.
---------------------------------------------------------
Kendall - Mental Illness? We're more prone to anxiety? So then... I feel lucky now.
---------------------------------------------------------
Maddie H - Heightened emotions. Sensitive to other conflicts.
---------------------------------------------------------
Marcus - He actually had a *formal?* presentation made. Pretty good pixlr?
---------------------------------------------------------
EveAnne - LGDPQ? Not a community that is talked about very often. Okay.
---------------------------------------------------------
Josh - His image is rather racist, although he has none of his own photography. At the very least though, it seems he took it kind of seriously. He says his examples are outdated, although that doesn't work.
Half of the stereotypes were just jokes and memes. It was funny though.
But it was good. It's pretty good.
---------------------------------------------------------
Antonio - Men vs Women wages
80% now? + or - 5? i don't know. The social justice image doesn't really make sense though because he's comparing a regular business women to Donald Trump, who is a millionaire.
---------------------------------------------------------
Freddie - Religious prejudice against Muslims. All Muslims terrorists. Good editing, and good image. Um... well, I've already heard a lot about this topic, although seriously, people can be dumb.
---------------------------------------------------------
Joseph - Social justice is weird. All I see is a happy group, and poverty. What is this about different education?
oh.
None of his own photos?
Ok so the top picture is those with a bad education and needs to fish out of the dump. But that doesn't work because just because you get a bad education, that doesn't mean you'll be digging in the dump.
---------------------------------------------------------
Grayson - Wait, unsurprisingly people are bullied due to race? Okay fine.
---------------------------------------------------------
George - Good. teen women earn 56% of wage... Wow.
---------------------------------------------------------
Daniel - Jews are still getting killed. Wow. In Israel?

I do not see how I can take anything away from that.
Josh's presentation seemed more of a joke than a presentation. Most of the stereotypes were not even real. The picture was just a bunch of memes.
Antonio's picture made me think that he was joking because he labeled the man as Trump, which was totally not needed.
Doogy's presentation was very informative, and his picture was nicely made (doing collages of multiple images).

George's presentation was very good and it incorporated interesting facts.

Daniel: I did not know that Jewish people are still in conflict with other peoples!

Grace and Amelia's presentation was really good. There topic was about bullying. A fact that I did not know is that every 1 out of 4 people in the country are bullied. This is a very serious topic and people should stop bullying other people.

Our society has a lot of issues. I don’t think people realize how much their words hurt and affect people. I knew that women weren’t treated equally, but when you see it as a number you realize how big the difference is.

People’s races are talked about way too much. Yes, your nationality is a part of you, but you shouldn’t be treated differently because of your nationality. I never really thought about how it would affect people’s wages.

There were a lot of topics talked about that I didn’t know because they weren’t placed in the US. I think we forget that there are other things happening in the world that have nothing to do with us, but still affect people drastically. The facts that were stated in the presentations were really eye opening.
