         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning is a community effort, and every member can benefit from and share knowledge with other members. Learning is a building experience, and every interaction between members of the learning community creates a brick with which to build. Hale and Fisher present the concept of the Orbit of Ability in which overlap between the circles (i.e., participants), represents growth through collaborative efforts. It is important to remember that the learning community isn’t just referring to the students and teachers within a physical classroom. It includes the global, digital learning network (DLN) which includes individuals from whom we gather information and with whom we share information through use of online networks.          <title>DESIGN, CONSTRUCT, REMODEL</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>teachers are responsible for the structural stability of teaching and learning in the classroom. They design, construct, and remodel curriculum. In the design process, they are determining what the primary structural units of the lesson will be. These are the aspects that need to remain constant. They continue to build from there and are able to make the adjustments and begin constructing the subsequent levels as necessary based on assessments. They embrace the collaboration of their fellow teachers to determine how they want to move forward with further development of their curriculum. They evaluate what has worked and what hasn’t and remodel as necessary so future classes can benefit from an even better experience than those before. <br><figure class="attachment attachment-preview"><img src="https://us.123rf.com/450wm/maralingstad/maralingstad1509/maralingstad150900966/45426500-vector-blueprint-compasses-icon--engineer-and-architect-background.jpg?ver=6" width="450" height="450"><figcaption class="caption"></figcaption></figure></div>]]></description>

         <title>TRANSFORMATION</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>transformation of curriculum is more of a spiral rather than a loop process. While it does circle back around to the same topic, the changes implemented continually produce an upgraded product. That change and improvement is a result of commitment to improvement, review of what is working or isn’t, revision of the pieces that are not, and collaborative efforts to determine what the next step moving forward needs to be. Transformation needs to happen by improving a unit at a time, rather than tackling the course as a whole, to allow a thorough review and revision.<br><figure class="attachment attachment-preview"><img src="http://www.alessandrabroglio.it/uploads/page/gallery/massaggio-metamorfico.jpg" width="400" height="266"><figcaption class="caption"></figcaption></figure></div>]]></description>
