I also used to think that the government protected these rights and to some extent, the government does, or at least it is supposed to. I feel like a lot of people are still falling through the cracks around the world. 
I used to think that education meant the right to be informed and I still feel this way. Every human being has the right to an education and a way to be informed of what is going on around them. They also deserve a normal school education to be able to stay informed.
