  • Germany was basically blamed for everything in the war and had to sign the Treaty of Versailles. 
  • German people faced famine.
  • Germany also did not finish paying off the half-trillion dollars of war reparations until 2010.
  • These horrible conditions and anger soon played a major role in leading to WWII.
