New Day Ministry serves people experiencing homelessness, people experiencing poverty, seniors, families with children, and those recovering from addiction in Kitsap County.

They provide a safe, judgment-free place with hot meals and groceries and offer 12-step Classes while providing other basic needs for those who are hungry and hopeless.

St. Vincent De Paul Bremerton: Neighborhood Market & Resource Center

Clients can visit to shop the market three times per month (any time throughout the month that works best for them). Clients without cooking facilities and/or experiencing homelessness can still pick up a 24 hour Pack daily (and will receive 2 on Friday). Clients do not need to bring any documentation if they do not have it; our compassionate volunteers never turn a client away for food.

Kitsap Mental Health: Outpatient Counseling Services

Kitsap Mental Health Services provides a variety of compassionate, effective outpatient services for children, youth and families – including services in home, school and community settings. These services are available throughout the year and are designed to provide structure, and a positive, predictable treatment progression for youth and their families.

Services may include:

Assessment of mental health needs
Family therapy
Individual support and therapy
Case management
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management services
Substance use disorder assessments and treatment

Kitsap Mental Health: WISe - Wraparound care with intensive behavioral health services for kids and families.

WISe is designed to surround at risk kids and their families with the intensive mental health assistance they need. WISe is highly customized for each individual and is available in home, and in convenient community settings.

Catholic Community Services: Housing & Essential Needs (HEN)

The HEN program of Kitsap County offers qualifying residents services such as rental assistance, security deposits, move in costs, bus vouchers, and monthly essential needs (toilet paper, shampoo, hygiene items, etc.). In conjunction to these services, we also offer case management to help people gain and/or maintain stable housing.

WISe stands for Wraparound with Intensive Services. WISe is a voluntary service that takes a team approach to meeting your child’s needs. It provides intensive mental health services to support your child and helps your family reach your goals.

Catholic Community Services: Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

CCS Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program quickly connects Veterans- families and individuals- experiencing homelessness, or at risk of losing housing, to permanent housing through tailored housing stability plans that may include the use of short-term financial assistance, supportive services and longer-term shallow subsidies. SSVF helps Veteran families and individuals living on the streets, in vehicles or in emergency shelters resolve the immediate barriers to obtaining permanent market rate housing while reducing the amount of time they experience homelessness. SSVF also helps Veteran families at risk of losing housing (within 30 days) regain housing stability through SSVF’s Homeless Prevention Program.
