Well he is more than that: he was a roommate, friend, inspiration, therapist, brother, teammate, opponent, associate, and moving crew. I have been with him so long, yet we never talked deeply about life goals and expectations. Now since he is in college he is far away, Rochester New York we don’t talk much. I got to visit him last year, but we mostly talked about life and small things. When he comes back for breaks, I feel like he’s different, and it’s like meeting someone new but you know something about them. We always had similar interests like math and science and sports, but he took a liking to the atmosphere, and I took a liking to math and physics. Since he is an RA this year, it has been harder to talk to him regularly, so I wanted to take a magnifying glass and see what he is doing. I thought he meant seven central time; it was actually seven eastern he meant so I got a nice call during dinner. I feel like this shows how him and I connect. We are in different time zones which makes a small barrier yet it makes us think differently. You think you know someone but when it comes down to specific details and stories... You don't. I want to get to know those close to me now better than I did before. What are their favorite activities? Is anything exciting happening soon? What is their passion is and how they will be able to do it?
