It is similar to kahoot but I prefer it since it gives you the option to create classrooms. So you can create a class for each of the classes you teach and assign each class separate activities. It also gives you the option to assign them ahead of time for them to work on at a specific time. I used this tool during the pandemic and it was a lifesaver. I also appreciate the fact that it is slightly less chaotic compared to kahoot.

The last activity carried out by the younger students was a video birthday invitation. It was done in pairs and the students did an excellent job.

I created classes and shared the links, so all the work they do is shared with me, I correct it and give feedback.

1. Project Management: Trello’s board and card system can be used to manage group projects. Each card can represent a task, and students can move the card across different lists on the board to represent the progress of the task.

2. Classroom Organization: You can create a board for your class and use lists to organize different aspects of the classroom. For example, you can have lists for homework assignments, class announcements, reading materials, etc.

3. Collaboration: Trello allows multiple users to work on the same board, making it a great tool for collaborative activities. Students can comment on cards, attach files, and even assign tasks to each other.

4. Self-paced Learning: You can create a board with different lists representing different topics or modules. Each card can contain learning materials and tasks for the students. This way, students can move at their own pace, moving to the next card once they’ve mastered the current one.

5. Feedback and Assessment: Teachers can use Trello to provide feedback on students’ work. By commenting on the card, teachers can give direct, real-time feedback.

• Genially for interactive presentations and escape room games. In eTwinning projects we also use this tool to foster collaboration among students, who can collaborativelly edit the presentation.

• Canva to create content, like posters, presentations, videos, Instagram posts, postcards, logos, for example. This tool is also very useful to get students collaborating in eTwinning projects, as they can create very interesting outcomes while working in international/mixed teams.

• Slido, Mentimeter, Wooclap for live polling. Mentimeter and Wooclap allow participant pace use. Wooclap can also be used as quizz game by enabling competition mode.

• Padlet and Digipad to collect, organise and present content. Enabling comments students can give feedback on the work done by their peers.

Through Nearpod's innovative features, I was able to design an engaging tour of the science museum, complete with interactive quizzes, immersive videos, and thought-provoking discussions. The students were not only able to learn about scientific concepts but also actively engage with the content in a real-life museum visit.

To engage students in an interactive and dynamic way using Wordwall, I would first create a variety of fun and challenging activities related to the lesson material. For example, I could create a quiz to test students' knowledge on a particular topic, or a matching game to help them practice vocabulary terms.

I would then introduce the activities to my students during a class session and encourage them to participate and compete against each other. By adding a competitive element, such as a leaderboard or timer, students are motivated to actively engage with the material and strive to improve their scores.

During the pandemic and then I experimented one that helped a lot

and I think it's very good as it engages students in the classes work and their participation is essential.

Padlet is a tool I use very often; my students can easily upload their work.

I use Canva with my students, we create logos and posters.

Both Genially and Wizer foster a more interactive and dynamic learning environment. Genially’s engaging and visually appealing presentations capture the students' interest and help them visualize complex aspects of literature and film. The interactive elements ensure that students are not just passive recipients of information but active participants in their learning journey.

Wizer, on the other hand, provides personalized feedback and adapts to different learning paces, which is essential in language education where comprehension and expression vary widely among students. It supports diverse learning styles and helps in catering to individual educational needs, thus enhancing student engagement and retention of material.

By integrating these digital resources into my teaching practice, I aim to provide a more enriched and effective learning experience that not only meets the educational needs of my students but also keeps them motivated and excited about learning.

In my class, I make great use of various web tools, each serving its unique purpose to enhance my teaching and my students' learning experiences. For instance, Canva and Book Creator are fantastic for unleashing creativity, allowing to design visually engaging presentations or craft captivating digital stories. Mentimeter and Nearpod are excellent for keeping my lessons interactive. They enable to gather instant feedback, run quizzes, and engage in polls, which really gets everyone involved and helps me understand how well my students are grasping the material. Tools like Edpuzzle and Quizziz are perfect for tailoring learning experience. They let students learn at their own pace through interactive videos and quizzes. Also very useful are Wakelet and Thinglink! These platforms are fantastic for curating content and creating interactive multimedia presentations, which helps students develop research skills and think critically. In summary, integrating these web tools adds dynamism and excitement to my classroom, catering to a variety of learning styles and preferences.

I especially like the possibilities provided by AI: language generative models (https://chat.openai.com/, https://gemini.google.com/, https://www.bing.com/chat) processing, and creation of images, presentations, contextual grammar checks (Grammarly, LanguageTool) and much more.

   • Use Kahoot's team mode feature to facilitate cooperative learning experiences, where students can discuss and debate their answers before submitting their responses.

5. Feedback and Reinforcement:

   • Provide immediate feedback during Kahoot quizzes to reinforce correct answers and address misconceptions. Use positive reinforcement, such as congratulatory messages or virtual rewards, to motivate and encourage students.

   • Use Kahoot's "ghost mode" feature to allow students to compete against their own previous scores, providing opportunities for self-assessment and improvement over time.

To grade students I often use Socrative.

Very frequently I use Quizlet, Kahoot, Quizizz, LiveWorkSheets, WordWall and video materials, that I have created un published in Youtube.

I also use Google forms to collect information and to build Edu-breakout rooms games.

I regularly use Quiziniere to design educational scenarii, Quizlet, Google education, Pearltrees, serious games, calendars and planners. I'm very fond of digital tools and jump from one to another.

Another one is Goosechase. This is a kind of digital scavenger hunt. Students form groups, one in the group has to have the app installed on his/her mobile. You prepare tasks/missions to be completed and set them a time for them. Students work together and submit tasks virtually on their phone. I have used it several times and it worked well in terms of student engagement every time.
