Characters

Guy Montag- The protagonist of the story. He is thirty years old and he is a firefighter who burns books. However, he is hiding books of his own.

Mildren Montag- She is Guy's wife, who has a very complacent personality and is addicted to the "modern" technology of their time. She is considered a "normal" person because she doesn't question what the government does.

Clarisse McClellan- Clarisse is a free soul that you would not normally find in this society. She does not fit the social norm that children her age do, and has a very innocent personality. Unfortunately, she dies.

Captain Beatty- Beatty is the captain of the firefighters. Beatty is suspicious of Guy Montag have books.

Mechanical Hound- A robotic dog that is basically a weapon. The Mechanical Hound is given a target and will go after it no matter what.
