I practised vocab on food and numbers as well as different verbs for what I do in my spare time. This also helped consolidate me overall German ability for the semesters content as a whole. I found this a useful marker of where I need to be in time for the exam and what I need to further study. This showed me that I should devote more time to practising prepositions for example. This helped me practise my pronunciation of the German alphabet using the alphabet song that I am familiar with in English. This was useful for hearing German in the natural way that a native German speaker would when watching TV in Germany, with the benefit of English subtitles.
