  • Give yourself TIME to get settled state-side before you start working

  • You will need a car ASAP

  • Contact Jordan or another resident to pick you up from airport

  • Build a support group! Even if it's not work related, we can help get you settled in

  • The weather here is a mix of everything. You will need an actual coat. Spring and Fall means wear layers.

  • Wichita does not have a great transit system, you will need to get a vehicle! But there is uber/lyft available as well as a bus that does go between major destinations. You can find out more information here Wichita Transit | Wichita, KS

  • start with getting your social security number

  • driver's license (you will have to take a driving test)

  • you might need a co-signer to purchase - reach out to leadership - we can get you set up with someone to help and know of some good dealerships!

  • don't buy off of facebook without a local helping you navigate what is legit (I always take to a mechanic first)
