What is your reaction to our vision? I love that the vision is about not just using technology to replace other classroom tools, but instead using technology to enhance the learning experience and provide additional and unique learning opportunities for students.

2. How will it impact the learning environment you create in your classroom? Hopefully it will create a memorable learning experience and digital skills that students will carry with them for the rest of their lives!

1. What is your reaction to our vision?

I agree with the importance of teaching responsible digital citizenship to students. In my experience supporting the middle school, it appears a majority of the students practice responsible use of technology. I think there is some headway to be made with ensuring students are technology literate. There appears to be more of a disparity among students' experiences, exposure, and knowledge of using technology tools to express/enhance learning.

2. Is it still relevant given the changes that have taken place during the pandemic?

I think our commitment to strengthening students' and teachers' knowledge of learning in the digital age is more important now than ever!

How should/does the vision impact the learning environment you create in your classroom? Over the last year or two, I was operating under "trial by fire" and using the skills used from PD courses to assist me in delivering virtual lessons. I believe there is more headway to be made in terms of digital learning and am eager to improve my skills in this area.

1. What is your reaction to our vision?
I like that technology is strengthening learning rather than replacing the initial learning process. There is still a necessary place in schools for teachers, but technology is a tool that can improve the internalization of key ideas and concepts.

2. How should/does the vision impact the learning environment you create in your classroom?
Equity is very important in the classroom, and using technology to help create an equitable environment is key. It allows teachers to personalize instruction to each student's needs without singling them out or making it obvious to their peers that they may have a different "version" or number of questions based on their academic needs. I think being in this digital age provides us with an incredibly opportunity to better serve all our students in a LRE

1. What is your reaction to our vision? Is it still relevant given the changes that have taken place during the pandemic?
I have used the 4Cs in Innovation Lab for K-5 but not inline with technology. I feel the pandemic has set everything back a year(ish). I have focused on Collaboration but I can see where all Cs could use revisiting both in person and with technology.
2. How should/does the vision impact the learning environment you create in your classroom?
Going forward it will help shape lessons both tech and non-tech. But I think it needs to happen in stages with K-2 kids. If they can't collaborate they can't communicate. Critical thinking comes after they can communicate what they know and understand. etc....
