Hartford and two towns mashed together made the colony. The Fundamental Orders of Connecticut was the first written constitution in NA.    </p></li></ol>]]></description>

A previous minister of Massachusetts and his congress followed by Anne Hutchinson went on to make the Rhode island and Providence plantations.          <description><![CDATA[<p>The Duke of York Gave some land to Lord John Berkley and Sir George Carteret out of the kindness of his heart. It was named New Jersey. They overfed big portions of land to get settlers, due to New Jersey not having a harbor it was hard. They sold the colony into the king's control in 1702  </p>]]></description>

For some reason it grew rapidly and soon was one of the largest cities. Being named after The guy who owns it founded 1681.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The last British colony, Georgia. Founded 1732 by James Oglethorpe. It was an established colony to collect debt and to give the poor a new start. It was a very strict colony but eventual Oglethorpe gave up. It then went on to become a royal colony, 1752.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Founded in 1632 by George Calvert, Maryland had much controversy over religion. Having been founded as a safe place for Catholics, even so protestants moved there to which sparked fighting. The Act of Toleration was set in place to stop anyone for persecution over religion but over time protestants took over the government, revoking it.</p>]]></description>

They liked the idea of self governing and eventually were able to become a Royal colony.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The first colony(that was successful) in America. founded in the early year of 1607. They went through harsh times not knowing what to expect. One of the unexpected things were Indigenous people. There was a lot of impactful people along the way and one was john smith who got the colony up to survivable standards. Even after a long time of conflict it's still a pretty not cool place.</p>]]></description>
