I'm the kind of person that says hello and strikes up a conversation with the person checking out my groceries. Recently, I bought groceries at Amazon Fresh for the first time. I had to scan a QR code to enter the store. Then, I placed all the items I wanted in a shopping cart. Then, I left. No check out line. No credit card inserted into a machine. No conversation with someone bagging my groceries. I got home unloaded my groceries and a receipt came to my in box. The camera caught all of the items I put into my cart. In 1980, when I used to shop with my mom, I could never have imagined such a thing!!
