- The 4th Sustainable Developmental Goal (SDG) is Quality Education.

- This goal is one of the most important goals on the list because it can directly impact other goals.

- For example, no poverty and zero hunger are goal #1 and #2 on the United Nation's list of SDGs. If children receive the quality education they need, this can directly impact the first goal by lowering poverty rates as children increase their skills and knowledge and working in the communities, as well as bring trade skills, such as farming which brings food security.

All information on this panel was found from: (Why Education Matters, 2019).

There are many barriers to providing quality education to the world's children. The number one causes all the other issues is poverty.
- Poverty directly contributes to the following barriers:
1. Lack of supplies
2. Lack of teachers
3. Lack of classrooms
4. The cost to attend school.
5. Hunger and poor nutrition.

Another big issue is the views of girls vs. boys. In countries with big gender differences and values, girls are often left behind when it comes to education. They are seen more as the home caregivers and only the boys need education.

All information on this panel is from: (Rueckert, 2019).
