One time I had to do the reading at church. It was fine, but it was nerve wracking.

I had a clif bar. Depends on if I'm rushing or not. Today I wasn't rushing but I didn't know what to eat. 

What is your favorite time of day? 

Nighttime because I like to sleep. I enjoy sleeping. After school mostly. 

Well...my comfort zone I don't know. I'm not a super comfortable swimmer but I went to get my lifeguard certification. And you have to be able to swim quite well. So I had to push myself.

Describe your feelings in a color, and what makes you choose that color?
Green, because to me green symbolizes life and nature. It's also summer so I think green represents my readiness to do some non-work things.

Can you tell me about a time you went out of your comfort zone?A couple of years ago, I had to stay with family for a while, which was uncomfortable, because my apartment building burned down. I understand how unimportant material things are, and how important people are because of this experience.

"I'm addicted to biking, I think its a healthy habit.  I wont break it anytime soon."

I would say my sophomore year, I was league all-star for cross country. People started running up to me and hugging me and it made me feel good.

Being president is a lot of work but it is fun. It is pretty stressful though. Prom was stressful because everyone has their own ideas and everyone has an opinion.

I love having little siblings. My little sister calls me Li which is cute. They look up to me.

“Today I was in the hall and went to point something out with my arm and I hit this freshman in the neck. I have no idea who it was.”

“In a foreign country!”

“I don’t know man. Just living. Maybe join the Peace Corps. I want to open a bookstore in London. It would have books everywhere, on the ceiling and like cool places to sit. Oh, and it would have a hot chocolate bar and maybe lemonade for when it’s warm out.”

I decided to be a foreign exchange student in Germany last year. I was there for like a whole month and went to school almost everyday, they gave me my own homework. I went into a 5th grade english class there and they asked me to read something. I messed up and mispronounced a word, it was really embarrassing.”

I don't often take things very seriously and I refuse to break that. I think it's hilarious.
What is one thing you would want to change in yourself?
I don't think I would change anything. I am pretty happy with my life right now.
Who do you miss the most?
I don't really miss people that much but probably my grandma. Oh yeah and my grandpa.
When did you feel the proudest?
Graduation, I was close with some of the students. 

I wake up somewhere. At exactly 9:41 AM. It's a nice day out. Probably like 74, 73, I’d hike a tall mountain, and throw my enemies off.

What are you most afraid of? Boredom 

How do you want to be remembered? I want to be remembered as someone who was compassionate, thoughtful and fun. 

What is the happiest moment of your life? My daughter is a marine and she graduated from boot camp two years ago. It was an amazing ceremony. I hadn’t seen her in 13 weeks and she couldn’t look or speak to me while she was in formation. She was 25 pounds thinner and her posture was perfect. I had never felt so much pride in my life and to this day it’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. 

“I would say I was an average student. I desperately wanted to be a smart kid, in the National Honors Society. I had aspirations, I had to work hard, particularly in math because it didn’t come easy to me. Arts, english and humanity classes were my strengths.”

“It allows me to relate to students really well when they are struggling or if they have 504 plans or IEPs. I understand that school doesn’t come easy to everybody.”

“My piece of advice is directed more towards females, work on your own self confidence because a women’s self confidence is her greatest asset. This goes far beyond how much education or money you have. 

“It was my second date with my boyfriend. We went out to dinner and I ordered sea scallops. He was driving me home and I threw up in his car, everywhere! He had to pull over and hold my hair back as I kept throwing up. It was definitely food poisoning. We have been together ever since.”
