This will help to collect data on overall trends, improve diagnosis and improve cancer services. </p><p>This will benefit you as Cancer Registration has shown to improve preventions, diagnosing and treating cancer, it may be used by healthcare professionals to check if you may benefit from being in a clinical trial. It will also be used with your permission to see if other members of your family may be at risk and how best to treat them. </p>]]></description>

We will return on 7th September. </p><p><br/></p><p>We have established a support group for our Haematology Patients and one guest (friends, family or carer), this will be monthly. </p><p>Our wish is for you to join us for a soft drink and a biscuit in a relaxing atmosphere with other patients who are going through similar journeys.</p><p>We welcome feedback, ideas and suggestions - the aim is for this to be patient-led in future. We will accommodate where possible and within reason.</p><p>The support group will offer patients a chance to socialise and network with other haematology patients and the clinical nurse specialist team.</p><p>Please contact the team if you would like to attend.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
