Gilda's Club KC Basketball Clinic by Aiden and Jackson´s

We belong to St. Elizabeth school, and attend here as well. We have played basketball at this school for the past six years of our lives, and we both know the complicated aspects of the game as well as the fundamentals. In 2019 we will be attending Rockhurst High school. We are raising money to help Gildas Club in Kansas City. Gildas Club raises money for people living with cancer.

This project has helped me grow as a person. It has taught me how to work hard and to always have a backup plan. I had to make a schedule, but we always got off time and lost scrimmage time at the end. It has taught me what it is like to be an authority figure and how to discipline. It was very stressful and taught me how to deal with stress. As difficult as this project was, I´m glad we got to raise money for those who really need it.

This project really let me know that anyone can make a big difference by doing things you like. Our clinic blew me away Aiden and I were expecting 10 kids at most and when thirty kids came, we were very thankful that we could do something that we like, that the kids like, and raise $500 all at the same time. I realized how much kids can make a difference, I encourage everyone to try to do something for others that need it more than you.
