A cause in world war 2 that I feel is most significant is rise of Hitler because when Hitler was rising a lot of things changed such as him becoming a chancellor, making a army and having alliances. Hitler went after money, power and land he did not care what nobody thought. He even made promises that he did not keep. People felt a way about what Hitler was doing but didn't do anything about it because they were not ready for a war but those who weren't ready for war such as France told Poland that If Germany was too invade them. World war 2 began in September 1939. Britain and France declared war on Germany. PETRICIA

The most significant cause of WWII was Germany's anger about the Treaty of Versailles. From WWI, Germany had to pay reparations for the damage caused to Europe. Germany also didn't appreciate the new rules given in the treaty. The War Guilt Cause, reparations, disarmament, and territorial clauses are the terms that Germany didn't approve of. None of the other factors are as effective as the Treaty of Versailles except for the Rise Of Hitler because Hitler disregarded the Treaty and did what he wanted to, and took over the German government & went against the Treaty.

The most significant causes of WW2 must have been the rise of Hitler and the treaty of Versailles. The reason hitler and the treaty of Versailles must have been the main causes because both caused/lead Germany to a outcry of its people. For example when the treaty of Versailles was settled with the people of Germany were left in a poor economic state and a lack of military. This caused WW2 because since people were poor and had little to none military, this lead people to be angry at Europe. It couldn't have been the rise of Hitler because if Germany wasn't in economic failure, Germany wouldn't have wan t to be in a fascist state. It also wouldn't be the League of Nations because the LN was a failure from Germany's rise in power. That's why the Treaty of Versailles was the main cause of WW2

The most significant cause for WW2 is the treaty of Versailles. This treaty settled by the League of Nations who did not let Germany join stated that the Germans needed to pay for all damages in the first ww1, while also having land taken which made Germany less economically stable also it lowers their population. The army restrictions made it impossible for Germany to defend it self even from small country's. this caused Germany to use nationalism as a way to take back all that was taken from the once great Germany. This caused the Germans to get riled up and fight for their rights, this is how the treaty of Versailles caused ww2.

The most significant cause of WW2 was the Rise of Hitler's which was when he gains power without the people knowing and was secretly building up Germanys army and weapons. Hitler then gained an
alliance with Italy and Japan because he wanted to start a war . He also started to take Germany's land back but he made promises that were lies. Also the Treaty of Versailles was another cause because Germany had to pay for damages from WW1 which caused Germany to have a resentment towards everyone.People became poor and couldn't pay back what they owed. Adolf Hitler promised the people a better society which meant ripping up the Treaty of Versailles, which lead to WW2 because the people were crying out for help and found sanctuary in a fascist leader Adolf Hitler because of the promises he made which lead to the holocast and something bigger.

The most significant causes of WW2 were the Treaty Of Versailles impacts on Germany and the manifestation of fascism. When Germany reached an armistice right then they lost the war and the Treaty Of Versailles made Germany pay for their actions. Germany was forced to pay for war reparations which left their country poor. Germany lost hope in their country and were fed up with the world. Fascism comes knocking on the door when when Adolf Hitler was recognized by the people because his plans were reasonable and convincing. Hitler wanted Germany to be erect, the prime nation known to mankind. Unfortunately, Adolf Hitler was vigilant in his plans and when he rose to power, his plans didn't favor the people, but his country. This lead to the holocaust where Adolf actions killed many people. Adolf showed that he was vindictive when he secretly built up his nation and aligned with Japan for the start of WW2 to take over the world. Many people died from Hitler's actions because he was in fact power hungry. A few decisions made by the Treaty Of Versailles impacted the world, lead us to WW2 along with hatred and greed that followed.

Germany was forced to take the blame for WWl and they had to pay for the reparations and could not have more than 100,000 dollars. It put Germany in debt.

The most significant cause Of WW2 was the rise of Hitler. Some actions Hitler took which led to world war 2 is him building up a secret army and weapons. Hitler ordered German troops to enter Rhineland. Hitler made two important alliances during 1936. He then made an effort to take back the land that had been taken away from Germany. Germany troops marched into Austria and had them do a vote to see who wanted to be part of Germany. 99% of Austria people wanted parts. The Austrian leader asked Britain, France, and Italy for help. World war 2 began when Hitler decided to invade Poland on the 1st of September in 1939. Also there were a lot of disagreements and quarrells which caused people to cross the line, by breaking rules and that caused the League of Nations to fail. Appeasement had balanced out the country. For example, Germany secretly built up army's and politicians agreed with them, felt like it was only right. The purpose of appeasement was to allow people the right for things they deserve. -PETRICIA PRICE

It was an ineffective foreign strategy because it gave some politicians power they didn't deserve.

The most significant cause of World War Two (WW2) was both the Treaty of Versailles and the Rise of Hitler. The Treaty of Versailles had been put into place for Germany after the first war. The treaty stated Germany was to take full blame for the war and had to pay many reperations as well as give up land and even couldn't exceed there military of 100,000 men. Germany fell into a Great Depression. They were broke had little to build from and was losing everything. Then came the rise of Hitler's than man who changed everythingand nothing at the same time. Hitler soon became chancellor of Germany and was selling them false hope and greed all at once. Hitler's began be secretly building up Germany's military, exceeding the 100,000 soilders to what was more than 4,000,000. Also both France and Britain had known of Hitler's plan yet decided to ignore them in hope that it would prevent the rise of communism. This eventually only led to many dispositions. Hitler was becoming stronger. He soon started to make allies with Japan and Italy. On the other hand without the Treaty of Versailles there is a great possibility that Hitler's wouldn't have gotten to be chancellor or have any real place in the hierarchy in Germany's status quo.

The most significant cause of WW2 was League of Nations beacause ther was a hard time bringing peace to the world during(1910). A year later they world was hit with depression in the late (1920) which means that the country's economy falls and trades are gonna be reduced, business loses income so the the prices gonna drop and unemployment rises. Some examples is that not all of the countries did not joined the league. There was a change of the government in the United States. Another example is that the league had no power because countries could still trade wit non-member countries.

The most signicant cause to WW2 was the failure of the League of Nations. The League of Nations was a group of countries to keep peace between Europe and to solve any problems without having to go to war. One thing they did was that when a country was starting problems they would stop all trading to that country, but this wasn't a good thing to do. The reason this wasn't a good thing to do is because during this time there was a big depression throughout Europe and there were also many countries that weren't in the League of Nation. So what the country would do in this situation is that they would go to countries that were not in the League of Nations and trade with them because the other countries wouldn't deny it because of the depression. And this is why the the failure of League of Nations was the cause of WW2

Germans found the outcomes of the treaty to be " unfair" and caused them to be bitter, revengeful and deep in Poverty. The people needed a leader who would protect them and make Germany great again and Hitler used that as support to gain power. The Treaty totally blamed Germany for World War 1 and forced the to give up land, money and their army. This caused the people to be in shock and anger

The most significant cause of ww2 was the failure of appeasement. Appeasement means giving into someone provided their demands are seen as reasonable. In 1934 Germany began re- arming themselves, many politicians thought that Germany had the right to protect themselves. Hitler started taking back territory which was once apart of Germany like the Rhineland. Britain and France did nothing to stop hitler because they were concerned about communism in the west and they seen Hitler's action as being reasonable. Neville chamberlain believe that the treaty of Versailles treated Germany badly and started the Munich agreement. The main purpose of the Munich agreement is that Germany were not to make any more territorial claims. But hitler broke the terms of the Munich agreement and invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia but the country weren't prepared for war. Poland were seen as the next target for Germany and chamberlain guarantee to come to Poland aid .

Hitler's actions made him have two important allies still in 1936 one was Mussolini Italy and the other was with Japan. Once his armies were strong enough they (Germany) wanted to take back their lands that was given to other countries after Hitler's men went to get back the lands Austria asked Britain and France to help but didn't want to risk having a war so they let Germany do whatever they want.

The most significant cause of WW2 would have been the the League of Nations. Why ? Because the purpose of the League of Nations was to keep world peace. For example, if there was an issue within a country they would be settled by negotiation rather than by force. This was all changed once the LON told Japan and other countries to stop trade since they were hit badly by the depression. The reason for this being a significant cause is because since they were the ones who supposedly had to keep the "peace" this issue of stopping trade could have possibly caused havoc since it stops buisness.

The most significant cause of WWII was the Treaty of Versailles because since Germany lost the war they were blamed for the cause of WWI and they had to pay repreations they believed it wasn't fair. Germany were desperately in need of someone to restore their pride, that's where Adolf Hitler comes in. Adolf Hitler offered them hope and surely he became the dictator of Germany. After WWI, the nations of Europe did not want another war so they tried to keep peace with Italy and Germany through appeasement. Unfortunately, the plan backfired and it made Hitler braver and fearless. Thus WWII was born. In 1919, The League of Nations had been created to keep world peace. However, not many countries joined. If the countries joined they would later leave. Germany was not allowed to join and Russia was excluded due to fear of Communism. The League had no army to back them up and they had no power. That lead to The Failure of the League of Nations.

The most significant cause for WW2 is the treaty of Versailles. This treaty settled by the League of Nations who did not let Germany join stated that the Germans needed to pay for all damages in the first ww1/reparations, while also having land taken which made Germany less economically stable also it lowerd their population. The army demilitarization made it impossible for Germany to defend it self even from small country's. the bad conditions of the treaty of Versailles caused Germany to use nationalism as a way to take back all that was taken from the once great Germany. This is how the treaty of Versailles was the most significant cause for leading up to ww2.

The most significant cause of WW2 was the influence of the Treaty of Versailles. Due to Germany being forced to take the blame for all the bloodshed and damage, thinking it wasn't fair for them to pay the cost of everything, yet by the end of the payment, Germany had no money to rebuild. The Treaty also forced Germany to go into the deep depression phase of a country. Thus the creation of WW2. To regain what was once Germany's property and more.

The most significant cause of WWII was the Germans anger over the Treaty of Versailles. The Germans felt the treaty was harsh and unfair. They had to take the blame for the cause of WWI and that angered the Germans. In addition, the Germans faced dismilitarization. They were only allowed to have a small army and six naval ships. They also had land taken away from them and the union with Austria was forbidden. Lastly, the treaty made Germany pay reparations for damage caused in the war. This led to Germany's economy to free fall. There was not many jobs ad goods were scarce. Since Germany's economy was poor, Adolf Hitler used this as a way to enticed the Germans and he rose to power.

One of the most dominant significant cause of WW2 was the failure of the League of Nations. The goal of the League of Nations come from Woodrow Wilson (the introduction of his 14 points) 1919. The U.S however did not join the League of Nations due to change of government, the new Republican government. The new U.S governs feared the negotiations because they didn't want to be involved in a new war. Moreover the goals of the League of Nations failed because of unattainable conditions, and bad conditions. The League didn't have the strongest authority over their goals, weak army power, and procrastinated their plans. In the text it states "...the world was hit by depresssion in the late 1920s, countries were reluctant to lose trading partners to non-member countries" (WW2 - Causes, back page) So the trade systems weren't functioning well therefore countries lacked the resources that were desirable to life. Japan is one example who experienced the great depression due to economic decays suffered from the lack of trade. The failure of the League of Nations was most significant instigator/cause
of WW2.

I think that the most significant cause of World War 2 is the Treaty of Versailles. Because, due to the requirements of the Treaty such as that Germany had to pay for the war debt or reparations, and they were blamed for causing the war. So the country was in an economic crisis and the Germans were left poor and felt ashamed and desperate. Aldo some people felt that because the Treaty was so harsh towards them, they wanted to get revenge. And because Germany was in a state of crisis and people were desperate, it allowed for Adolf Hitler to take over. Because he was a fascist, he promised a strong government and because the people were desperate the agreed with him. And when he took over, he started to disobey the Treaty and That made other countries angry. For example, when he invaded Poland, the British before had gareanteed that if he did that they would aid Poland. And the war started.
