Alone is sipping coffee to my best indulgence. Reading and watching movies. Eating and listening to music. I fancy having only myself for the rest of the day. I can be my own best friend, my own enemy, my own critique, my own companion. Perhaps this is because there is a kind of sadness I feel when I am around people. There had been many instances where I've watched other people talk while I am on my own facade of dissolving in the conversation. Alone, I am less scared, less anxious, and less present. Sometimes i find it too much to be in the presence of other people. But not when I'm with you. With you I feel like I can have an infinite fascination with the things that are simple and ordinary.
