But two years later when a son was born he called him Nwokfia- ‘Begotten in the Wilderness.’ “<br>• Okonkwo didn’t keep his word to the kinsmen by naming his child Nwokfia. He broke the promise he made with this mother’s people. This is a form of toxicity masculinity because Okonkwo is being selfish by not settling with the original name Nneka which gives power to the woman.</div>]]></description>

But Okonkwo had driven him away with threat that if he came into his compound again, he would be carried out of it.”<br>• Nwoye tries to tell his father about his new success, but Okonkwo doesn’t want him near or to speak with him. Okonkwo is being unreasonable to his son. If he chooses to change religions, then he should expect his decision no matter what because after all, he’s his oldest son.</div>]]></description>

He finally felt control over his village again.</div>]]></description>
