His sparse hair was almost white, and from his chin dripped a long smoke–colored beard, which waved absurdly back and forth" (Chapter 1). </p><p>Benjamin is born as an elderly man rather than a baby. Benjamin was born in 1860 during the summer. </p>]]></description>

He attends Yale University but on the 3rd day, he is kicked out for being "Lying" about his age.</p>]]></description>

Roscoe wanted nothing to do with his dad because he has a reputation to take care of. Roscoe tells Benjamin to start calling him uncle so no one would get suspicious. </p>]]></description>

He cried when he was hungry or sleepy and took many naps. </p>]]></description>
